Customer Review: 5 Star Mortimer!
Summary: 5 Stars

I bought this for my grand daughter when she was 3 months old to entertain her during a cross country holiday flight. It worked like a charm! It still goes with her everywhere whether it be cross country or across the street. She loves every bit of it and at 8 months discovers new ways of playing with it. A grand mothers dream to give a gift that turns out to be the favorite one. She squeals and smiles with it and teethes on it as well. It challenges infants for many developmental issues. This toy has them all. It is bright, cheerful and full of sounds and textures.
I would recommend this to any one. You can't go wrong! This defines 5 star ratings!

Customer Review: Mortimer the Moose
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased both Mortimer the Moose and Lamaze Freddie the Firefly before my son was born. The moose is quite soft, cuddly and just the right size for my son to hold and play with. He loves looking at and chewing on Mortimer's colorful hooves (the hooves crinkle and chime when squeezed). The teether antlers are large and made of a soft rubber gentle enough for delicate gums. We always take Mortimer with us on long road trips, it will occupy and entertain my son when he becomes fussy in his car seat. Buy Mortimer the Moose, your child will love it too!

Customer Review: Cute, but large toy
Summary: 3 Stars

This toy is really cute and makes great sounds, but my 4 month old has a hard time grabbing most parts of it. The tail has rings that she can grab, but the hooves are rather large, she tries to grab the feet part instead of the legs. The antlers that appear to be good to gnaw on are not all that easy for my daughter to get her mouth on, plus I worry about the pointier edges. Although this is cute, bright, and has lots of different materials, there are better toys.

UPDATE: Now that my daughter is closer to 9 months, she is loving this toy. She grabs the hooves and swings it around and really enjoys the rings on the tail.

Customer Review: Mortimer is our favorite
Summary: 5 Stars

Of all our lamaze toys (and we have quite a few), this one is our favorite. His ears are very tasty and the texture is just right for teething. He squeaks and shakes and rattles and rolls and he has a couple of teething rings attached as well as a convenient hook for attaching him to all of baby's seats or play mats. We particularly love Mortimer, and what a great name! The only problem we have is with the family dog who responds to squeaky toys and wants to drag Mortimer away! We don't squeak his belly when she's around! I can't say enough about his purple ears - my little grandson Phoenix loves to chew on them!

Customer Review: Pretty nice
Summary: 5 Stars

I got this for my 7-month old nephew for Christmas and he seemed to really like it. He was playing with it and holding onto it more than the other gifts, so I give it a good rating based on that. I also have had other animals of the same type from this maker and they are still rolling strong even after A LOT of play, so the price is right and these are made tough. My daughter has had a few of them for the past 2 years and she is rough on things, and they are in great shape still. I give if 5 stars based on the survival of those 2 years, the quick shipping, the nice packaging, and good price.
