This was just a great little toy. Lilly is near 8 mts old and has 5 teeth comming in up top. The ears, legs, round rings, the scarf around thie neck, and feet all make for such a diverse texture for her to bite, the body is so soft! It may not be as flashy colorful as the other toys lamaze makes, but she loves it more than the peakock she has!Customer Review: Great Toy For Infants

This is my three month old daughter's very favorite toy. She can't get enough of it! It has lots of colors for her to look at and different textures for her to feel. I think it would be great for kids from 2 months to 12 months old. It's especially good for children my daughter's age because it's easy for little hands to grab ahold of.Customer Review: Moose!

Our son received Mortimer for Christmas this last year. He was only 2 months old. Now he is going on 9 months and he stills loves him. His antlers are great for teething. His feet either have a bell in them or are crinkly sounding; as is his scarf. Where his tail would be he has a couple teething loops which are great for baby's gums.Customer Review: Must Have

This is my 8 month old sons favorite animal/toy hands down. I can always take it with us and not have to worry about him getting bored. He's loved it since we got it for him when he was three months old, and though it has lost some of its novelty, he still enjoys playing with the textures, and finds comfort in having him around.Customer Review: Mortimer the Man

My baby was born October 28, 2008. Simple review, he was his best friend for the first 7 months of his life! He still travels with us and we use that white clip to attach him to the stroller or car seat now that he throws things. If you're a mother or father and contemplating something for your newborn, buy Mortimer.
