I bought Lamaze Jacques the Peacock after reading reviews from other Amazon.com's customers. I wasn't disappointed. My baby's had Jacques since she was 4 months, and though it never became a favorite toy, my daughter finds some time to play with it every day. For some reason she was really fascinated with the black and white back side of the Jacques, but now she seem to equally like the bright colors on the front. She also likes different textures of the feathers. I like how easy it is to clip this toy to almost anything, and how large it is. I bought 4 Lamaze toys based on their 5 stars reviews, Buzz the Bug, Freddie the Firefly, Mortimer the Moose, and Jacques the Peacock. They are all beautiful and good quality and all have teething rings, squeakers, crinkles, and rattles. BUT to be honest Jacques the Peacock beats them all so easily, my baby only cares about jack. When she was born I show her the High contrast Black and White dots on jack's wings, and she was so mesmerized for several minutes.. While I agree that all Lamaze baby products are good and worth buying, but I think 1 or 2 is enough.Customer Review: Terrific Toy!

We got both the Firefly and the Peacock Lamaze toys and my baby loves them both equally. They are colorful, fun, have many textures and make different noises when handled. I had read good reviews on these toys and the reviews were right! My baby is nearly six months old now and began playing with these about a month ago. She really loves to chew on them and make the crinkle and crunch in her hands. These are some of her favorite toys overall. I think that although the Lamaze toys are a bit more expensive than others, that they are well worth the price.Customer Review: my baby's fav.

This is one of my son's favorite toys. He first started paying attention to it at about 2 months, mostly because of the bright colors, I think. He's now nearly 5 months old, and he enjoys grasping it so it crinkles, chewing on the attached bug and rings, a and looking at himself in the mirrored wing. The toy is small enough to take in the diaper bag, and the included clip is really handy with the infant seat and stroller. This is a great toy for infants, and you can really see changes in the way they play with it as their motor skills develop.Customer Review: We love Jacques

I had initially purchased Jacques for Christmas for my 8 week old daughter. As soon as I showed her his black/white/red backside (4 weeks before christmas) she lit up and smiled- needless to say we gave our little girl an early christmas present. She adores Jacques. I would HIGHLY recommend this to any parent. (My sister's 6 month old loves it too) I know she'll adore it at least for the next year, the front side is sooo fun and cute. As soon as she sees colors we'll turn it around for her to enjoy!! This is a must for any baby or infant.
