My baby has been obsessed with Jacques since she was very young, maybe five weeks old. Even people who have seen my daughter with this toy have commented on her fascination with it.
Jacques has so many neat characteristics (rattle, squeaker, mirror, crackling wings, color variety, etc), and different elements have appealed to my daughter at varying stages of development.
If we ever lose Jacques, I will be having another overnighted to our home.
I've never written a review on Amazon, but I thought this toy should get the credit it deserves.

I got this for my baby when he was 2 months old. He wasn't that interested in toys yet, but he was quickly drawn to Jacques. The color and scale of this toy is just right. I keep it clipped by his car seat. If we have to go in anywhere, he is the perfect length to clip to the stroller clip on my diaper bag and not touch the ground when I set it down. And he's still very entertaining 3 months later. We have a Freddy the Firefly too, but I think my kid prefers Jacques, which kinda surprised me because Freddy looks a little more interesting to me. But Jacques is definitely a good buy.Customer Review: One of the best toys!

I bought this for my son after he had a surgery done and he has loved it ever since. When we're in the car and I hook it to the handle he can't stop staring at it and he's always trying to grab at it. I had some previous toys hanging from the handle prior to buying Jacques and he never ever seemed interested in those. Plus, when he's crying I just use Jacques to cheer him up and he'll automatically stop! He loves it.. one of the best things I've bought, I can't wait to see him get more interactive with it, I can tell he really really wants to! :) Buy him if you haven't already!Customer Review: My 4 month old's favorite toy

I immediately fell in love with the vibrant colors of this toy & bought this for my 4 month old daughter when she was around 2 months & at first, I think it freaked her out. Her eyes would bug out everytime I held it in front of her & she shied away from it. But another couple of weeks went by & she came around big time. This toy is now her absolute favorite. As many others have said, the feathers are crinkly & give her something interesting to hold, press & to bite on. It works on her everytime, which is saying a lot cause she can be quite cranky... When my son was almost 3 months and and started figuring out he had hands, we attached this toy to his activity center above his head. It was instant success. He loves the bright colors, he would stare at them at watch it until he was able to grab it. Now, at 4 months. He grabs it and puts the feathers straight into his mouth. He loves the crinkly sounds. As he gets bigger, he seems to notice new things about it. We've also started using it in his car seat because he needed a toy in there that he liked to keep him from crying. An all around great toy for a little one.
