Customer Review: Issues with the strap

This chair has a fatal flaw. The fit and finish are good and the assembly is quite easy. You literally just put the screws in. However, that's all fine and dandy until you go to strap your 1.5 year old in and find that the buckle on the strap is utter junk. We've used many of this "type" of high chair in restaurants and we've been able to firmly buckle our child in. The problem with this chair is that the buckle is really low grade quality and won't stay in. Infact, after using it only once my child has figured out that if he simple leans upwards the buckle will pop off with no problem. The buckle is really low grade quality and isn't anything as secure as the other types of buckles that you see in restaurant/commercial quality chairs. You don't get that "snap in place" sound and literally it comes apart at the slightest bit of pressure.
I'm emailing the company to see if they will send me a replacement strap. Perhaps mine is just defective.
