I also bought the Gerber diapers - we prefer them to the Kushies. The Kushies are not as soft, even after repeated washings. We use the cloth diapers for everything - burp cloths, under baby's head in the crib, on the activity mat, to catch dribbles...and all of the other usual uses. I'd recommed at least 2 dozen per baby!!Customer Review: Best Burp Clothes

I got tons of burp clothes for shower gifts, but these are the best ones. Most obsorbent and practical. I don't use anything else anymore. I had a "spitty" baby who was breastfed and it didn't take me long to figure out that these make the best burp clothes. I recommend giving them as shower gifts. I got these pre-folded Diapers just in case my baby would be allergic to the disposable ones. Turns out I did not use them for diapers but for Burping clothes instead. They are soft and just the right size. My little guy loves to place his face on these towels. I recommend you get at lest two packs. I have to echo the sentiment of others that these are wonderful burp cloths and emergency changing pads, however, they are not thick enough to be used as true cloth diapers instead of disposables. The softness of the cotton makes them ideal for use under baby's head or bottom during changing or feeding time.Customer Review: Softest Ever!

I read the other reviews and decided to try these diapers as burp rags - what else gets so much mileage with a new baby??? I LOVE them - they are extremely soft, and seem to get softer with every washing, but they're durable, too. I would buy more in a heartbeat, and would recommend them to friends.
