Baby Products Reviews of Kushies 5 Pack Reusable Ultra Diapers for Infants

Customer Review: luv the kushies
Summary: 5 Stars

I've used Kushies diapers for my children and despite a few leaks in the begining I have had no problems with them. In fact I love them. I was a little leary when I first got them cause they felt a little stiff but after a few washes they softened right up. I would definately reccomend washing these diapers atleast twice before first use cause it seems to make them more absorbent. When my children started getting older and required a little more absorbency I just added a hemp wash cloth folded in half and that was all it took. I also got my best price on these diapers from thebabylane.com, fantastic place to order from.

Customer Review: Mom, do these diapers make my tush look big?
Summary: 4 Stars

I am so happy with these for my daughter! Every time I use one, I feel virtuous that I am not adding to the landfill, and that I will ultimately be saving money. HOWEVER... My daughter was almost 9 pounds when she was born, so I figured it wouldn't be too long before I could begin using the Kushies (10-22 lbs, remember). She is a skinny little thing (tall), and she was about 9 months old and weighed 18 lbs. before the infant size would stay on and didn't look like clown pants. Other than this little glitch, I've been quite happy with these diapers, and I definitely recommend the flushable liners to use with them.

Customer Review: Love Maxs Kushies!!!!
Summary: 4 Stars

Hi, Mom of 5 who has tried diaper cover after diaper cover (hassels). w/ baby #5 we found the all-in-one kushies ultra. We love them.We even use them over night, w/o leaks. JUst wash them in non-clorine detergent (just a tablespoonfull). we use Seventh Generation.Any biodegratable would be better on them, and wouldnt rip them up.Also fasten the flaps and turn them inside out...works for us!dry on med. heat w/ a dry towel in the drier.may need to run it twice. less work than it sounds.
Like I said, we love them, my 9 yr. old can even put them on the baby. NO LEaKS (for us) even over nite!

Customer Review: not my favorite cloth diaper
Summary: 3 Stars

These were the first all-in-ones I got, and I only registered for them because they were easy to buy for the less web-savvy. But, I have since gotten Bumkins aio's and LOVE them. The Kushies' covers break down way too quickly and they are really bulky in the crotch area. After 5 months of use in rotation with second-hand Bumkins aio's and snugglebottoms contours (in other words, they aren't even taking the full brunt of the washing and drying) all ten of my brand-new Kushies have tears in the cover. One thing I can say for these and all of my cloth diapers, though: no diaper rash.

Customer Review: Great diaper but cheaper else where
Summary: 5 Stars

I love these diapers. I find the more you wash them the softer they get!!! You CANNOT use bleach or dreft when you wash these diapers. I will say that you can buy these online at Babycenter Superstore for much less. Their regular price is $38.00 and some change. They have been on sale there for the past couple of months for $31.00 and some change ( just go to the On Sale Now page, and click the clothing sale, and they are on the 3rd page or so). Just thought I would share that. And I do believe that the shipping is free after $90.00 or something like that.
