Baby Products Reviews of Kolcraft Jeep Liberty Limited 3 Wheel All Terrain StrollerCustomer Review: Mostly Good Mostly Summary: 4 Stars
Upside
*Great for kid to sit in able to see over tray
*Huge storage basket and easy access even with Kid in the seat
*Wide stance very stable
*Taller than a BOB
*Tray toys steering wheel and horn (kids love it)
*Easy to set up
*Easy to fold down and store
*Does OK on trails
*Tray easy to remove for storage
*Great price (B.O.B. is more expensive but we sold ours to buy this and this was the better deal)
Downside
*Bulky, folds smaller than a BOB but not lighter
*Not tall enough I'm 6'4" but taller than a BOB
*Wide stance almost too wide in some settings (single track trails, small sidewalks, small aisles in stores)
*No shocks but if you don't jog or take on major off road excursions won't be a problem for you
*Kind of plasticy doesn't seem to be as well built as a b.o.b (doesn't cost as much either)
Overall score
I would give 3.5 stars as my wife a daughter love this stroller and as I said earlier we sold our BOB to buy this and am glad that we did, our daughter loves this troller and I would recommend this stroller to anyone who wants a sturdy jogger but isn't going to need it for hardcore running. Not as tall as I would like but again I'm taller than most people (maybe I'll devlop an attachment.
Customer Review: This is great, but... Summary: 4 Stars
I got this for my 2 y/o daughter who was getting way too tall for her umbrella stroller (her feet kept touching the wheels), and also because i hated the stroller part of the travel system she had when she was born. The wheels were rusting or something, but it would get stuck on everything. I wanted something, not for running, but something that was extremely sturdy and the biggest wheels I could find. This is it! It's great, I love it, her dad loves it, and my daughter loves it. She also loves the toy wheel that came with it.
The only negative things I can say about it is that... it's heavy. No joke, if i had this when she was a infant, I'd die. You can attached certain infant carriers to it, sure, but if you can't easily lift 30lbs like nothing, I'd not suggest it for the first 6 months. I had to go to a lot of errands and appointments without the father to help, so I'd definitely want something much lighter during those first 6 months to 1 year. Afterwords, though, it's fine.
Also, the only other negative thing about it is that it's bulky. It does fit in both my cars, however, *sigh* it takes up like 70% of the trunk. If you have a SUV or Van, you'd not have these issues.
Beyond all that, I really love it. People definitely get out of my way when i walk by now. ^_^
Customer Review: LOVE this stroller:) Summary: 5 Stars
#1 reason I chose this stroller: Durability. A friend of mine bought this stroller second-hand. She has been using it regularly for at least 2 and 1/2 years, and leaves it outside through all kinds of weather conditions. It is in AMAZING shape. No rust. No stains (when cleaned). The little steering wheel still makes noise. Unbelievable.
#2: It steers easily- which is a big deal for me, as I am 5'0" and 105 lbs.
#3: It looks fantastic and has an Ipod hookup! What?!
So I now own this stroller. I love this stroller. My daughter loves this stroller. My boyfriend/baby's daddy loves this stroller. Strangers compliment us on this stroller.
The storage spaces are ridiculously roomy and it has two extra pouches on the side! The front wheel can be easily locked if you don't want the swivel, and easily unlocked if you do. If your child drops their toy/snack/whatever and it falls off of the seat, it lands in a big ol' net!!!
I've never written a review on a product... that is how impressed I am. We spent the same amount on our first stroller, and during it's second use two of the screws bent and we could never fold it properly again- and every time we hit a bump it folded on our daughter. NOT okay.
GO JEEP!
Customer Review: Love this stroller Summary: 5 Stars
I'm a stay at home mom living in Hawaii at the moment. My only child is now 5 months old, but when she was about 3 months old it was obvious that the travel system purchase wasn't gonna cut it on our morning walks. We live down the street from a beach and I walk my daughter and my dog out to the beach every morning. This stroller makes it through fields, dirt trails, and down sandy beaches. I love its sturdiness and shock absorption.
My daughter was riding facing me in her Chicco car seat, but this weekend we started seating her directly in the stroller and she LOVES it. My husband is also a fan. He is 6'2" and I'm 5'11" so handle height is a big deal when choosing strollers. We've both found handling to be very comfortable and natural on this stroller.
In the past, when I would walk to the grocery store with my travel system stroller, I found space to be limited, but the Jeep has plenty of storage space and I seem to locate new storage places each day. Its been fantastic for schlepping groceries through my neighborhood.
This stroller meets my everyday needs and my (somewhat) active lifestyle. I love it.
Customer Review: Good but too havy and takes a lot of space Summary: 3 Stars
Yes it's a cool straller, but it is NOT a jogger as it is said on the target website!I bought it on Amazon and it was specifically stated in the description and assembling instructions that it is not a jogger. It is roomy and I like music on the go and it is going almost everywhere,I even was able to push it on sand in the water park.
However I totally hate to put it in and out of the trunk. It is SOOO HEAVY and huge, even I work out..I have a spacy trunk in my Acura TL and even with this space it's difficult to put it in, I have to turn the front wheel and I even scratched my bumper once dragging this monster out :-( Also I can't buckle my 4 months old daughter in it. The safety straps are too loose in their shortest adjustment.I have to put her in the carseat always and it's too big and bulky. However I get a lot of compliments about such a cool cart.I don't like to go around in the stores with it, it's longer than other strallers and I always bump into things, so embarrasiing.I am looking to buy a light weight straller or Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Stroller , where I can strall my baby without car seat and go with a more compact straller.
