I think this is a great idea, but I also have run across the problem of the glue not sticking well enough. It seemed OK at first - stuck no problem. Enter my son....who magically turned into a little beaver boy, dug his bottom teeth right under the gummi rail and pried it off - all the way along the inside of his crib. Perhaps even with the best glue in the world he would do this and end up prying the wood off instead. So, I give up and I'm moving onto a fabric cover that ties on instead.Customer Review: Works perfectly!

We have a Babi Italia Pinehurst dropside crib and our daughter was 11 months old when we put the Gummi covering on. This product has worked great and fit our crib perfectly. Our daughter has not been able to pull it off. We did follow the instructions and wiped the crib rail down with alcohol first. After applying, we allowed it to sit untouched for about 2 hours. I highly recommend this product and will probably be buying it for my sister-in-law when her baby arrives. Great product!!Customer Review: OK ONLY FOR CHEAP CRIBS

I CERTAINLY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT TO ANYONE WITH A 3-1 CRIB. FIRST AS SOME REVIEWS STATE BABIES CAN UNADHERE THE PRODUCT. WELL FOR SOMEONE WHO BOUGHT A CRIB TO LAST THEIR CHILD FOR MANY MANY YEARS, SUPER GLUING THIS PRODUCT IS NOT AN OPTION. SECONDILY IF YOU HAVE A CHILD THAT CHEWS ON MORE THEN JUST THE FRONT RAIL, THEN CUTTING THIS PRODUCT TO FIT THE SIDES LEAVES YOU WITH 1 PIECE TOO SHORT. IT CERTAINLY IS A GREAT IDEA BUT NOT PRACTICAL FOR MORE THEN CHEAP CRIBS.Customer Review: Exactly what we needed

I've been using this guard for 6+m and just ordered another one to use on the crib's head board. It's fairly easy to install. I have a modern white crib, so it doesn't stand out much. It's not a 100% perfect fit, but close enough to where I'm super happy. Our 1yr old was gnawing away on the rail (leaving teeth marks and scraping paint!) so this was very needed. Hey, it's even made in the USA! I'd recommend this any day, it's been a true crib savior.

I DID NOT LET THIS CURE FOR 8 HOURS (MY LITTLE GUY IS NEVER AWAKE THAT LONG)LIKE DIRECTED SO THAT MAY BE THE PROBLEM BUT IT DID NOT STAY ON ONCE HE STARTED CHEWING. I RAN SOME CRAZY GLUE UNDERNEATH AND NOW IT STAYS. THIS IS A GOOD SOLUTION IF YOU HAVE AN INEXPENSIVE CRIB AND DO NOT CARE ABOUT THE GUARD BEING PERMANENT. I STILL GIVE IT 4 STARS BECAUSE NONE OF THE CRIB GUARDS OUT THERE SEEM TO STAY ON AND I REALLY LIKE THE DESIGN OF THIS ONE MUCH BETTER THAN ANY OF THEM.
