Baby Products Reviews of Kiddopotamus Tinydiner Placemat, GreenCustomer Review: Great for easy clean up Summary: 5 StarsNow that I live in an apt without carpeting in my dining area, I let my 21 mth old feed herself more. This table mat allows us to let her do that with limited mess. Sure, sometimes it doesn't work when she decides to sweep everything off the mat just for fun (and a reaction) but most times, she doesn't and enjoys picking her food from the mat and feeding herself. The catch pocket is great for preventing food from dropping on the floor. Sounds gross but sometimes, she even picks up what she's spit out and eats it again. Ha! I also use the Bibbity and love that as well.
Customer Review: great help Summary: 5 Starssaw baby using it at mall, very neat.It helps parents a lot, and baby has fun eating too. I haven't used it yet, wait for my son to grow up, he may start to use it next month. I bought in advance.
Customer Review: A Handy Accessory. Summary: 5 StarsWe like to take our baby boy (13 months) dining with us and sit him in a high chair at the edge of our table. My wife got a cover for restaurant high chairs, which can be amazingly sticky, and she brings along Clorox disinfecting wipes for other things within easy reach. This is the flu season, after all, and this year it's the swine flu we're talking about. Well, we try to protect the little guy, but his hands just get all over the table and everything else within reach, and then head straight for his mouth, of course. This past week my wife added a Kiddopotamus Tiny Diner Place Mat to our protective devices. It fits on any strange tables we encounter and it works very well.
It works well on the home table as well, but here the emphasis is different. At home it's protection for the table, rather than for the kid. In either case, it fastens down with small suction cups. The little boy can smear stuff all over it and we can easily peel the mat off and give it a washing. Real Handy. It even has a little trough on the table-edge side to catch inevitable spillage in that direction. We chose the blue, but the green would have been just as good. We're going to get a lot of use out of this nifty little accessory.

Customer Review: Convenient Summary: 5 StarsThis placemat works great out at restaurants. I didn't want my son eating off of tables but he isn't ready for a plate yet. The suction cups work pretty well on most surfaces to keep the placemat in place.
Customer Review: Great for catching food Summary: 5 StarsThis placemat is very well designed. It is just the right size, not too big, not too small. The suction cups on the bottom allow it to stay in place. My 2 year old daughter has never pulled it off the table or moved it. The portion in front catches lots of food and spilled liquids, preventing additional required cleanup after meal time, and the flexible material makes it easy to just fold up, remove from the table and rinse off in the sink. A really Excellent product.
