we have tried plastic disposable covers for dining out and our daughter always ends up ripping it off which makes it useless. This is nice not only because it is reusable, but she has yet to be able to rip it off the table. only complaint is a few foods like spaghetti sauce stain the surface, but does eventually come clean after multiple washings.Customer Review: Love it

My 9mo old loves to suck on the table every time we go out to eat and that's just gross. So this place mat is perfect. It rolls up easily so it fits easily into the diaper bag. And the suction cups on the bottom keep it firmly in place on the table. The little tray in front catches SOME of the food he drops... Plus, it's easy to clean. I think this thing is great! Suction cups stick to the table - keeps things relatively close in and the tray catches a lot which our 14 month old actually will sometimes scoop up and finish off. Cleans pretty easily but does have a bit of stain from spaghetti sauce but what in our house doesn't have some kind of stain on it with a toddler?!?!Customer Review: Best Baby Item I've purchased in a long time

We bought two of this by mistake but don't regret it at all. People generally stop and ask us at restaurants where we got it. I guess the only improvement I can think would be some sort of lipped edge to prevent food from coming off the edges, but then it probably wouldn't roll up as nicely. Even with this suggestion, I still give it 5 stars.Customer Review: Great!

This placemat has been a great purchase! I purchased it for use when we take our 9 month old out and it has been well received! Not only does it cover the table, it catches some of the food items my son drops. This is quite handy and an unexpected benefit. Love it and so does my son. He runs his hand over it, feeling all of the textures.
