We are still swaddling our 5.5 month old and these velcro swaddle blankets are awesome! They are really easy to use and the velcro is strong. Of course, you have to bind it pretty tightly, but then it stays put, unlike the regular blankets (which we used, and then started tying it with a fabric strap to keep on our wiggling girl).
One problem is that if you wash these swaddles in hot water, they shrink. And if you dry them, they shrink EVEN more. We are now using the size Large, which fit our girl (16lbs, 25") great. We double swaddle her (2 kiddopotamus - organic cotton). The fleece one seems too warm and shrinks even more.
I highly recommend this product to anyone who wonders how to get their child to sleep. And as far as swaddle weaning goes- I'm not sure how we're going to do it. I've become very dependent on it.

My husband and I agree that this is what saved us. Swaddling our daughter with just a blanket never stayed long enough or tight enough for her taste. Whenever she was crying we put her in this and it ALWAYS helped. We found our 8 lb daughter fit in this with room to spare. She did grow out of it, but at that point she was too old for swaddling anyway. It is what I buy for baby showers, and I always rave about this to friends and neighbors. The only problem for us was that we only had one, and when she spit up we had to wait for it to come out of the wash.Customer Review: Highly recommended!

The hospital taught us how to swaddle our daughter with a receiving blanket. It wasn't too difficult. However, a friend gave us several Kiddopotamus SwaddleMe blankets and they were so simple to use! They are fast and secure, and with a wiggly newborn it was a huge help! When the weather got cold, we used it as an outer swaddle over a receiving blanket swaddle for added warmth. You can't go wrong, slide the feet in, tuck in the arms and you're all set!Customer Review: Swaddling Wraps

Excellent and inexpensive swaddling blankets! However, my baby soon grew out of the small size wraps, and she is just turing 7 weeks old! Would recommend buying only a couple of the small sized ones ( I bought 6 and didn't end up using them as long as I would have liked to). Not sure if the large sized ones would fit newborns, but I think they might and they'd last longer.Customer Review: Don't Waste your Money

Reasons why I wouldn't buy this:
1. Once your baby is strong enough, he can break free from this causing him to wake up
2. Comes in different sizes and doesn't grow with your baby. I ended buying several and changing them again in a month since my baby has grown again.
