These things are indispensable for moms of new babies. They come in quite a few colors and fabrics, so you can get ones that are appropriate for any season. We had about 6 that we used for my son up until his 8 month birthday or so when he decided he didn't want to be swaddled while sleeping and graduated to regular blankets. They wash & wear very well and are especially great for parents (like us) who never quite mastered the art of forming a 'baby burrito' with a regular blanket. I bought 2 of these for a friend with a new baby and highly recommend them!
