We bought this product because were potty training our daughter, and we didn't want to have to worry about cleaning the carseat all the time. She hasn't had a potty accident in it yet but she did get sick on the road one day and threw up in her seat. It was a mess we thought we had to clean the whole chair but when we stopped the car and took her out, the only thing we had to do to clean the seat was removed the piddlepad! It absobed everything and kept ti from getting in all the creases of the carseat.Customer Review: Hasn't leaked on me yet.

I have had this pad for about two years and love it. I have washed and dryed it so many times, and it loooks brand new. It never leaks through onto the car seat, because the borders on it are great. I bought this for my two year old when we started potty training her and were brave enough to stop putting diapers on her for travel. She is 3 and a half now and it is still on her seat just in case... and also because she says it's comfy! It is very soft and adds a bit more cushion to those hard car seats.Customer Review: Perfect! I wish I would have found this sooner. We travel a lot and my daughters diaper would leak and cleaning the car seat was not always easy, since it couldn't be thrown in the wash like the PiddlePad could. This has also help protect her seat from food that might have fallen and became smooshed. The PiddlePad also stayed in place relatively well, with only a few adjustments after I got her out of the car and then put her back in.
I bought two, this way I had a back up when one was dirty.

Thankfully my 2yr daughter hasn't had many accidents, but the one time it happened on the Kiddopotamus, the PiddlePad did not do its job to retain the water and keep the car seat dry. I suppose it could have been worse, but it was like we didn't use the PiddlePad given how wet the car seat got. Needless to say I had to remove the car seat cover to clean it. I don't know if there are any other similar type products but I do not recommend this.Customer Review: Nice addition

This piddle pad has saved me the hassle of dissassembling our infant carrier to wash the whole cover on several occasions and therefore is definitely worth the money. If you are out and about and your baby has a big blow out or the diaper leaks you can easily pull this off and put them back into the seat so they don't sit in the mess for the rest of your trip or errands. It is reassuring to know you have an extra layer of protection.
