This product is great. My daughter is one. She hadn't slept outside her crib in several months and I wondered how we would do at grandma's house, especially now that she is so aware of her surroundings. She did great! She slept better in the pod than at home in her crib! And it was so easy to carry and set up. I can see it also being a great tent for play once she outgrows it (which won't be for many more years). My dad (an engineer) had only seen traditional travel cribs (pack and play, etc.) He couldn't stop raving about the pod and how well designed it is. As a non-engineer, I found it a bit difficult to collapse when putting it away, but got the hang of it eventually. I highly recommend this product.Customer Review: KidCo PeaPod Plus Travel Bed

We purchased this for our granddaughter to use for sleeping in this summer when we go camping. We chose this over a playpen because of its light weight and the fact that it folds up into a compact size. We will be using it inside of our RV. We also picked the PeaPod Plus because is it a little bit larger than the regular PeaPod. When it arrived, I opened it and it popped up into a little tent. It has a strong fabric odor, so I've left it open in a spare bedroom to air out. I'm hoping that the odor will leave before we use it. The sleeping bag is washable, so I will wash it before using. I'm hoping that I will be able to collapse it and get it to fit back into it's carrying bag without too much trouble.Customer Review: not for short-tempered people ;-)

I just spent about an hour trying to fold this bed back into it's pouch in preparation for our trip. I guess we're leaving without it, since it like the Rubik's cube: you can never get one side right. Even with the easy-breezy instruction video on kidco site, it is just impossible!
Very frustrating, and now forcing me into worrying about the trip and my baby's sleeping arrangement. I'll give it another try after cooling off, but jeez... Can it be ANY harder?!
The bed itself looks like a winner in comfort and "amenities" like the easy to inflate mattress, bug screens, etc, but only if you can fold it back and take it along. Otherwise - pointless.
Customer Review: Buyer beware! Loud zipper, difficult to put down sleepy baby

This is the stupidest product for three reasons:
1. You have to get down on your knees and lean down to put your baby in, by which time that baby's probably woken up (my three month old always did)
2. The zipper is really loud, if you want to avoid your baby rolling out and want to zip it up. The zipper sound always freaked out my baby
3. You're not supposed to zip it up when the baby is asleep in it unsupervised anyway. Unzipped, my baby rolled out after ten minutes.
This is good as a tent, if you're at a picnic and you plan to be watching the baby. However, it is NOT good as a pack and play substitute.
Customer Review: Now it's BROKEN!!!

We are SO sad- my son's beloved travel bed is broken. He has slept in it about 10 times while we traveled and each time he got a good nights sleep and was contained.
HOWEVER, it is now broken and we can't fix it. The only thing kidco tells you is that you may need to "reshape the frame." Well, our frame definitely needs reshaping, and nothing out of the ordinary happened to the bed. Now it won't fold and it definitely looks out of shape.
It is so frustrating- before it broke I would have given the bed 5 stars! But, something that costs as much as it does should not break even after 10 uses when it is used according to directions.
