The key to the use of this tent is to get the little one used to it before you have to use it! I put the tent in my 1 year old's crib for a week before we had to use it and he got used to it and understood that it was a sleep place. so when we went camping with friends at Disney at Fort Wilderness, we put his Tent in the camper and he knew it was nap time or bed time without fuss. I felt safe and secure that he was not going to roll off the side of a bed or couch when he was in it! My crib sheet fit the blow up mattress perfectly and we did not use the sleeping bag that came with it at this time... we will save that for when he gets a little older! Item was exactly as described and works great! - Enjoy!

The Pea Pod Plus is great. We use it whenever we travel. Our 3 year old loves her "play tent" and can sleep in it very comfortably. The wind flaps provide some darkness so if we all have to share a room it's ideal as we can stay up reading and she has her own "room" in a way. In the morning, we pack it up (very easy to do) and take it to the beach so her 8 week old brother is protected from the sun, sand & wind while we play. We will need a second pea pod eventually so they can both have their own "rooms". Certainly easier than traveling with a pack n' play. Get the PLUS size (it's not that much bigger than the original)as it will be used as your child grows. Highly recommended. Easy to use, easy to store, easy to carry & durable.Customer Review: GREAT idea... difficult to execute!

We bought the peapod plus last week and we are returning it tomorrow! First of all, our 13 month old is used to sleeping in a pack-n-play when we travel and was SO SCARED to be zipped into the tent. She slept terribly, wanted out, and I had to get in with her to help her fall asleep... but she didn't stay asleep because she woke up and got scared. We also tried repeatedly to open and close it and we decided its too difficult to close it properly. When not closed properly, it does not open properly. We would find this very frustrating when travelling. The pack-n-play is heavy but at least we can't damage the shape or hurt the frame... and our baby sleeps in it through the night. Guess we'll stick to lugging it around!Customer Review: Great for travel or playing at home.

We set this up in the living room when it came so our son could get used to it before he had to sleep in it at his grandparents' house. He loved it immediately and proceeded to get in and play. He still likes to play in it sometimes. We have used it about four times so far for him to actually sleep in, and it has worked very well. We did have to zip it up though or he would just get out when he was supposed to be sleeping. He is 21 months old and too big for his pack n' play, but he has plenty of room in the tent. It is very easy to set up and easy to put down (once you practice it a couple of times). Overall, we are very happy with the product and have already recommended it to friends.Customer Review: My 9 month old LOVED it!

I bought this product for a week-long vacation based on the solid reviews and was very impressed. We were flying, so a pack-n-play would have been a pain (not to mention $70 in checked bag fees!). The PeaPod is lighweight and folds up to the size of a medium pizza. So, you can fit it in a suitcase easily! I couldn't figure out the pump and would just blow it up myself, which really wasn't that big of a deal. My daughter (9 months) LOVED it and slept really well in it! I only used it inside but thought it would be great for the beach or for outside use too. I'm really glad I bought the larger Pod after reading the reviews about the small one. There is plenty of growing room. A solid investment!
