Baby Products Reviews of Kidco PeaPod Plus Indoor/Outdoor Travel Bed - RedCustomer Review: My 9 month old LOVED it! Summary: 5 StarsI bought this product for a week-long vacation based on the solid reviews and was very impressed. We were flying, so a pack-n-play would have been a pain (not to mention $70 in checked bag fees!). The PeaPod is lighweight and folds up to the size of a medium pizza. So, you can fit it in a suitcase easily! I couldn't figure out the pump and would just blow it up myself, which really wasn't that big of a deal. My daughter (9 months) LOVED it and slept really well in it! I only used it inside but thought it would be great for the beach or for outside use too. I'm really glad I bought the larger Pod after reading the reviews about the small one. There is plenty of growing room. A solid investment!
Customer Review: Cool little bed Summary: 5 StarsThis item seems to be perfectly targeted to those aged 2-5 who are able to climb out of a pack and play. It gives them a cool little space to call their own. The PeaPod Plus sets up very easilty and folds to a compact shape for travel. Well worth the money.
Customer Review: great product Summary: 5 StarsThis is an excellent product. Kind of expensive, but I think it will get a lot of use. (My only issue is that the hand pump that's included with it to blow up the mattress is silly. It takes longer to use the hand pump than it does just to blow it up with your own lung power.) It folds up very easily and is compact enough that I can just leave it in my hatchback all the time. It's great for using at the beach or anywhere you need a quick bed for your little one. And because it accommodates a child up to 6 years old, my son will get lots of use out of it. What kid doesn't like playing in a tent? Definitely worth the expense.
Customer Review: Great travel bed Summary: 5 StarsI bought this for my 13 month old son. He absolutely loves it and now he is 18 months. It is perfect for visiting relatives or camping out. He has so much fun in his own little room. It is a great buy.
Customer Review: A traveler's saving grace Summary: 5 StarsWe bought this bed for a trip to Hawaii, and it worked perfectly. My daughter has outgrown a pack-and-play, but I didn't want to hassle with trying to get her to sleep in a big bed without bedrails etc... This tent was the perfect answer. It pops up without any trouble, the inflatable mattress was perfect (I used a crib sheet to cover it to make it a little more cozy), and having screen covers (only on the "plus" model), kept her from seeing us moving about the room and getting restless. It was also small enough to fit into my (big) suitcase (a huge plus, since airlines are charging so much for extra luggage). We travel a lot, and this bed is going to be getting a lot of use. It was also super easy to pack up, since you just fold it and rotate to create a nice little circle. It works very much like the kidco pop-up play tents, and doesn't require stakes or poles or anything else annoying. For anyone looking for a post pack-and-play solution, this is great.
