This is the best baby gate ever! We initially bought it over 2 years ago for my son to block off a large hallway...this gate was the only one big enough for the hallway. It is VERY simple to install. Now we have it in a different house for our second son. My now 3 year old can open it by himself (which we wanted). It was simple to bring with us on the move and easy to install again. I recommend this gate to ANYONE who is looking for a gate for large openings! We had MANY compliments from friends (who are also parents) about our gate after they had been at our house and used it. Don't pick any others! This one is it!Customer Review: Was good a year ago. Now it's junk.

I bought one a year ago and it worked great. The hardware (at that time) attached it securely to the wall and everything fit well. I just bought another one and it's not the same. The new hardware probably saves the company 20 cents per gate but puts your child at risk. I'm sure the company thought the trade-off is worth it. Instead of securely attaching to studs in the wall the new hardware depends on screwing into drywall only - no wood. The result is a very flimsy mount - and dangerous.
This was a 5 star product a year ago but with the new hardware creating such a weak link it's now a zero.

Although i have no kids, I do have dogs and needed a gate that could stand some abuse and be easy to use as well. Of all the gates I have tried over the years, this is the one to get. Easy to set up, easy to move and sturdy as well. This is a well made, well thought out product and it's about time. Order additional mounts and you can move this gate to several areas within a few minutes and feel secure. Besides all that it is attractive and will fit any decor. Plus replacement parts as well as the additional mounts are available from the mfg. as well, so if you need to add or replace there is support behind you.Customer Review: Great gate

I love this gate! We have a spiral staircase that continues for 3 floors and it was almost impossible to block off on the second level. This gate has solved all our problems.
The door does not swing closed behind you, which I like. The bar across the bottom of the door is very low compared to other gates, about an inch. When the door is closed it is secure, much more so than our gate that swings shut behind you. The entire system spans 72" and is very stable, even when my 1 year old shakes it.
This gate is a great solution for difficult areas and is well worth the money.

This is the best gate for a large opening! I had such a hard time finding a gate that was big enough for the doorway into our den, but this one is great. We've had it almost a year and it's still like new. Our 1 year old pulls on it all the time and it holds up great. I definitely recommend this gate!
Only bad thing: At the part you walk through, there is a bar at the bottom that you have to step over. At first you forget and "fall" over it. Once you get used to it, it's fine. This would not change my opinion about this gate at all.
