I've seen and used many tub toy holders over the years as a nanny, prior to becoming a mother.
I knew coming into this mommy-gig that I'd be hard pressed to find a holder I'd like.
Most use suction of some kind and the suction, I've found, hardly ever stays put.
I suppose folks like having the toys up and off to the side somewhere to save space, but if the tub you're using this in is primarily the kids', then that's not much of a concern.
Even if someone wants to take shower, just move the basket to the other end.
I like that things have more space to air out and it acts a little bit as a blocking device to keep baby hands from the shampoo and bubble bath.
It's as sturdy as any of its counterparts, but I wouldn't suggest a baby holding him/herself up with it.
Overall, would buy again and recommend.

I've tried the bath toy holders that suction to the walls with absolutely no luck and much frustration. This Kidco storage basket is totally perfect for us. It is nice because my kids can reach the toys inside and enjoy playing with the basket. It sits very securely (rarely falls down) and it holds all of our bath toys (and we have way too many). Another reviewer had said how they can't close the shower curtain, but this is really not a big deal because it takes 2 seconds to take it off, then you can shower, and then put it back on in another 2 seconds. That annoyance is much less of a big deal than the suction toy holders that constantly fall down and make a scary loud crashing sound like every 3 days or so. But FYI, the only important stipulation for this product is that you have to make sure you have a ledge on the wall side of your bath tub - it won't work if you don't.Customer Review: Bathtub saver!!!

My son is an active bath taker and at 9 months walking has become a new discovery and unfortunatly he's wild in the bathtub as a result. (we have had to resort to a bath seat for his safety). I have bought covers for the focet that have fallen off while he's playing in the tub and with covers he's now interested even more with the focet, so this has been great to block it off entirely. I have a small lip on the wall side of the tub and it does hold well in place. There is another brand that has magnets on the lips to hold it down on the tub better, and I did glue magnets on mine and it holds in place so he can't pull it all over as easily, but it has worked out well and held up to a roudy baby!! and most importantly, holds a good amount of bathtoys so I am not showering with little squirting toys all at my feet!!!Customer Review: Product Length

We really like this product. It isn't super-sturdy, but my two year-old has done well with it. So nice to have a storage solution that drains nicely and where kids can easily put bath toys away themselves! I wanted to post a review with the product size because we have a slightly larger tub and before ordering I couldn't find the length anywhere on the web to know if this product would work for us. The maximum extension from tip to tip is about 35.5 inches. Our tub is wider than that in the middle, but the basket works fine pushed to one end. (It also keeps my tot away from the faucet.) I put self-adhesive silicone rubber pads from the hardware store on the bottom of both ends of the basket and it stays put just fine. I recently ordered this for our tub.
My daughter's bathroom is also the guest bathroom so when people come to stay with us, we have to dig all the tub toys out.
We originally had the Boon Frog toy thing that sticks to the way. It was horrible and didn't work at all. I was skeptical of ordering something after that experience.
This organizer is perfect. It keeps all the toys out of the tub. It has removable dividers which are perfect for organizing bath toys.
I noticed some people mentioned that you can't use it in the shower if you share the same bathroom. I disagree. We just push it all the way to the back and then the shower curtain will close easily.
I am very pleased.
