My 2 year old can break the seal on the adhesive easily. You might as well buy anything that you screw into your cabinetry. It comes with hardware... I could have gotten more locks cheaper that do the same thing. I didn't want to screw them into my cabinets.Customer Review: don't purchase!!

Directions were not helpful & after installing it - it did not work properly. It is worth the extra time & effort to install one with screws. This one is also quite large & intrusive as opposed to the smaller drawer locks on the market.Customer Review: Too difficult to use
