Baby Products Reviews of Kalencom Potette Disposable Liners - On The Go Potty Liner Re-FillsCustomer Review: great for a city kid Summary: 4 Stars
We live in NYC and this is stroller must. There's never a restroom when you need on, especially on the subway. We've even used it on a moving subway car... though it was a bit tricky, he was able to go. We got a few stares but we didn't have an accident. Our son feel much more confident whenever we go out b/c he has his 'travel potty'. He asks for it by name now.
I didn't give it 5 stars b/c on a few occasions the seat has collapsed under him. You have to make sure the legs are fully extended and 'snapped' into place before you put your child on it.
Overall, it's one of the most useful things I've bought for him in the past 6 months.
Customer Review: Great Product Summary: 4 Stars
I bought the on-the-go potty years ago for when my first child was potty training. We didn't use it much then, but we have found it so helpful this summer with our second child. The unpredictable schedule of summertime has made it a more difficult time to potty train. Traveling in New York City with a recently potty-trained 2-year-old is a challenge, and this potty was a life-saver. I have in a pinch used regular plastic bags, but the liners that are marketed for the potty are much better. They have an absorbent pad, they fit the potty just right, and you can be sure that there won't be any leaks. I highly recommend this potty and the liners.
Customer Review: Don't leave home without it. Summary: 5 Stars
My toddler uses this almost every day. From the earliest days of potty learning it has been great to have a clean, convenient, and familiar potty anywhere on a few second's notice. Really does fold up to fit in a shoulder bag or stroller cargo area. Liners are great, but a little pricy. I use produce bags to good effect, although there are some situations, like on a long hike when we are committed to carrying out ALL waste, when the absorbent completely sealing bags are really worth it. Whenever I get it out for my little girl, all the other parents ask, "Where can I get one TODAY?" I would buy it again at twice the price.
Customer Review: NOT SO GOOD Summary: 2 Stars
I love the actual Potette Portable Potty I have one in red and my daughter absolutly loves it. It has been great on the go but, the Potty re-fills barely fit and the little pads in them don't give off much sent..For the price I wouldn't recoment them you pay $5 plus shipping for 10 and they are hard to find. I use generic plastic bags with sented pant libers I get 50 for less then the price of one re-fil. You do the math. Don't think the the seats are bad because they are not they work great you just have to make the choice on the bags..Try a regular plastic bag and see how it works. Good luck!
Customer Review: Great for Travel Summary: 5 Stars
These liners and the potty that goes with it is awesome! Great for travel or those times when you just leave a store and suddenly the kids have to potty and you dread going back in that store!! My 3 and 5 year old have used it since they were 2. The 5 year old is almost 40 pounds and can still use it but might be getting a bit tall since it sits so low to the ground, but for an emergency we'd use it in a pinch! They can easily potty inside our mini-van (for privacy) with no messes but are always sure to do it on the rubber mats just in case!
