I thought it would be a little to small but I have a five and a three year old and I still cary this around in the car as I'm not a big fan of public restrooms. I use regular plastic bags(grocery) making sure they don't have holes and cut out doggy pads. Works just fine for emergencys. Now, if it's for a number 2 than it's a little harde for bigger kids to use but will still do the trick.Customer Review: Lifesaver

Cannot tell you how many disastrous situations this has saved me from.
I use this everywhere...even on the side of the soccer field...when the big girls are jealous that they are using a smelly outhouse.
Takes some of the anxiety out of potty training away from home.
LOVE IT so much I bought one for my husband so I didn't have to share. We have one in each car.

We bought this for a trip to the beach and it was a lifesaver. Our daughter has only been using the potty for about three weeks and she had no problems using this potty. We used plastic grocery bags with an absorbant liner rather than replacement liners and they really worked much better (hence the four stars rather than five).Customer Review: Worked like a charm

Very light and easy to carry in my backpack. My little girl was in the midst of a city street party and there was nowhere to go...she didn't think twice about using the Potette. Only problem is that the absorbent pad wasn't absorbent enough. In future, we will carry one of our left over diapers to place in bottom of bag.Customer Review: Small, but does the job

Yes, it's tiny. Not very comfy for long sits, but great for emergencies, or during potty training while out and about. My 5 yr old has even been known to use it in an emergency (fear of auto-flush toilets). It will easily fit in a diaper bag, although we mainly just keep it under the seat in the minivan for traveling.
