A friend gave me the seat that she used for her daughter; glad I didn't spend the money on it myself. First and most importantly, when my daughter (who can sit on her own) was in it she immediately slid around in it and seemed to land so her little girl parts were racked by the center 'bar'. Completely unacceptable. Seems that if they have to put that center bar there they would make the seat with a more gripping surface or tilt it to the rear just a bit. Also, this seat is designed for modern plastic tubs. Does fine in the one tub in my home, but wont stick to the old clawfoot tub and the tub bottom is too curved for it.Customer Review: Dont use with textured tub!

The product is nice. It is a little awkward for a baby boy to use but not really sure if anything would make it easy. The seat is nice and sturdy and comes with 4 big suctions cups. The only problem is my tub has "very little" texture and it still does not stay attached to the bottom of the tub. I did know when I bought the seat that it did not stick to textured tubs but I thought since mine was almost minute that it would not matter. IT DOES! Do not buy if your tub is not SMOOTH!
Product gets 5 stars but I ranked it at 4 due to it not sticking!

I had been looking for a product like this for a while now and I was very excited to receive this one....until I used it with my son. My son slides all around in it and it does not stay stuck to the bottom of the bathtub. Also it's not very roomy, meaning it's hard to get to his body to wash him while he is sitting in it. I end up taking him out to wash his body, so why bother putting him in it in the first place. I've had a product like this before with my first child and it was much more open than this one. The Thermobaby Bath Ring is very well made. It is durable and can fit a wide range of babies up to 18 months. The suction cups on the bottom work well. Here are things that need improvement. If you have a big baby, it is hard to squeeze them in there. We have an 11 month old who we struggle to put in and take out.
It would be helpful if there was some part in the top ring that could be opened and latched to slide the babies in. An adjustable cross bar between the two outer bars would be better for boys than the current middle bar.

I would definitely recomend this product, after looking everywhere for the best bath seat I found this one. It doesnt scratch my 8 month olds legs when i take her out, it doesnt hook to the side of the tub and hold water when through, it is just a simple bath seat, exactly what i was looking for, it works great. Of course it is hard to wash her bottom when she is in it but that is the case with any bath seat for this age. so i just stand her up and wash the bottom. Also suctions to the tub floor nicely and has never tipped.
