This is a great, sturdy product and I think everyone should have one to try. HOWEVER, the first time we used it, my son was scared. I think it is all the water in the tub and it was a bit overwhelming...something I did not think would happen.
There's a line on it that says do not fill above and I did not fill water near it so maybe he would have liked it more if we had more water in the tub? I was afraid of him tipping over- which would not have happend- I was just worried, I guess, lol.
My son likes to splash his hands in the water and he couldn't in this. I will give it another try with the water deeper and see if he likes it.
It is a great product, but costs so much to put a gamble on whether your child will like it or not.

I have been looking for a bath seat for a very long time. My son is very independent and loves feeling like he is "free." I read through a lot of bath seats, and found that this one not only had a higher weight limit, but seemed better balanced and larger leg holes, making it easier to take the baby in and out of the bath seat. This one is amazing!! Even though I have a textured tub, the suction cups do stick. Not as strong as they would to a regular tub, but they do stick. I did run into a few problems that I had read on other reviews, such as slipping baby within the seat, or the toys hitting his chest. I just put a small hand towel on the seat, and maybe a small washcloth over the toys. I love this bath seat!Customer Review: Just the thing

I bought this for my 9 month old nephew who lives with me and it is just the thing I was looking for. I feel so much more comfortable giving him a bath now. The only problems I've found are, 1. He does squirm a lot and his little bottom slides around on the seat so I have to reposition him quite often. 2. The little decorations on the front bar have points on them, (not sharp), but they leave little red marks on his chest when he leans forward on them. I found that if I put a wash cloth over them that takes care of the problem. I'm really glad I bought this bath seat because now he and I both enjoy bath time more and he's a little chunky monkey and the seat has lots of space for him to grow.Customer Review: Recommend this product

I really like this product. I started to buy the bath ring that hooks on the side of the tub, but since we have shower doors, I didn't think it would fit properly. After much research, I chose this one. It's a great product. The suction cups stick to the bottom of the tub very well and stay fastened through the whole bathtime. Suction is easy to release with the side tabs. The only thing I don't like is the fact that it doesn't swivel. It does have a little bit of non-slip coating on the seat part which is great for independent sitters; however, if your little one needs support sitting, you might want to put a small towel or wash cloth on the seat, too. I bought this product because my daughter was getting too big to be bathed in the sink and I couldn't find one that I liked. For starters, I do not have a ceramic tub, the suction cups do NOT stick to the bottom leaving the ring to kind of tip over slightly when my daughter reaches for things. She is 6 months old and weighs 15 lbs. It does serve its purpose in the sense of me being able to wash her without having a slippery baby fall over in the tub but I guess I just expected something more. Who am I to judge anyway, my daughter seems pretty happy in it and doesn't scream to get out so I like it but it isn't the best. I think this product could be improved.
