Customer Review: Not a good fit for a toddler + Newborn in a Car seat

We did some serious research before picking up this stroller for our 3 1/2 year old son and new born daughter. All of the reviews made it seem like the perfect fit for what we were looking for. We selected the product because of the light weight of the product and the reviews but once we recieved the product at home and tried it out it was clear that it would not work for us and we ultimately returned it before ever taking it out of the house. Here was the problem for us. Once the baby car seat is installed there is not enough room for our 3 1/2 year old to sit comfortably on the step. He litterally had to lean forward because the front seat has to be fully reclined to support the car seat. The benh seat does shift backwards but the foot rest for the back seat does not so his feet were behind him. "Mommy I am not comfortable" came out in the first 30 seconds of sitting on the stroller. This was a huge disappointment to us. The Product was beautifully constructed, was very light, has a sharp modern look to it, rides well, and folds easily but if you are in a situation to have to use the car seat with a toddler that wants to sit down I do not recommend it. I spent a lot of time researching the different sit and stand strollers, we have a boy on the way and a 3 year old girl... I knew right away when we found out we were expecting that our daughter (even though she says she likes the idea of a brother) we knew that she would have a hard time not being involved or not being able to use all of 'his' things... so even though she hasn't used in a stroller in over a year she would immediatley want to use one when she saw him using one. This is the perfect solution. The stroller is very lightweight, yet very sturdy and easy to maneuver with one hand. We had an expensive travel system with our first and it did not handle or feel as secure as this one. It fits our Chicco KeyFit 30 infant car seat perfectly and does not feel top heavy. I can't wait for our lil guy so that I can use this stroller!Customer Review: LOVE IT

I love my new Joovy Caboose! I bought a used Jeep double stroller when I was pregnant with my second child. Since my kids would be less than two years apart I knew I'd need something to hold both of them. The double stroller was a pain to use. It was heavy, bulky, large, and very difficult to steer. I never used it because I just couldn't. Finally I decided a sit-and stand type stroller would be great, especially since my older child was 2 1/2 at this point. I used my new Joovy the day I got it and have probably used it every day since. It's light (I bought the ultralight) and very easy to steer. It's much easier to get in and out of my vehicle than the double stroller (I would always have to have my husband do it). Both of my kids love the stroller and are very comfortable in it. We haved used the stroller for a month and have taken it on a couple of airplane trips and it has been super to use. It is very easy to steer and feels solid over bumps and curbs. It is well designed with a high, foam padded handle and a neoprene 2-bottle holder and zip pocket. My 3 1/2 year old daughter loves her spot and it has been a huge relief to be able to contain and transport her, along with my infant son.
My biggest complaint is that the under-the-seat basket is hard to access (you have to manuever through the back seat) and it is not very big. Also, the stroller is still very big when folded and I have not been able to purchase a travel cover/bag for it since it folds down longer than even traditional double strollers.

For those of you who read these and wonder what to believe belive me this stroller is wonderful. For all you first time moms if you are thinking about having another kid skip the single stroller and get this I have two kids and one on the way we recently went to disneyland and this stroller was perfect it held my back pack(full of snacks and lunch) jackets and a small diaper bag. The basket size is a little smaller than a single stroller but you can take a whole other kid It was way light after 6 days at disneyland and lots of pushing my arms never got tired ;)It lived up to my expectations and even though the price waas a little more you get what you pay for and this is a nice stroller. sorry this is so long it is just so great!
