Baby Products Reviews of Jeep All Weather Umbrella Stroller, Ice PinkCustomer Review: Pretty nice for $45 Summary: 4 StarsI bought this at a local Walmart for around $45. It is better than your average umbrella stroller. The seat is a little short and therefore my child tends to slide forward. The reclining part is not that impressive, it only reclines a couple inches. I like the cargo bags, they can fit diapers, wipes, keys or other small stuff. I like that idea better than a basket under the stroller as those are hard to get your items in and out. Most cheap umbrella strollers have no storage so this is better than nothing. It is tall enough for me to push without leaning forward (5'6"). It rolls smoothly and turns easily. It folds and unfolds fairly easily. The frame is sturdy. The sun shade at first seemed a little oddly designed. It forms such a big, high arc, that I couldn't see it really being usefull, but it appears to work fine. It folds and unfolds easily and stays on when you fold and unfold the stroller. I think the 3 point harness is fine because the front part comes up really high on smaller babies and once the kid is older you don't have to worry so much about them falling forward unexpectedly. They might lean forward more easily in this harness as a toddler, but still, the three point harness should keep them in the seat.
Customer Review: please do NOT buy this stroller Summary: 1 StarsI purchased this stroller about 6 months ago for my then 12 month old son. It was a decent stroller for the price. However, this past week, my son, now 18 months, was sitting in the stroller when the seat fabric ripped. The rip was down the side of the seat causing my son to fall backwards and into the hole in the fabric where his head became lodged. I had to literally cut the rest of the seat off in order to get his head out of it. Thankfully he is fine, minus a cut on his ear. I, of course, was not so fine and promptly called Kolcraft upon returning home. They were non-apologetic and could have cared less about my son's safety. After some badgering, they offered to send me a new seat. No thanks, I'll find a new stroller...
Customer Review: My 15-month old can no longer use it... Summary: 3 StarsThis stroller is certainly light and looks exactly as pictured. It does not feel that sturdy but seemed okay. Most notably, I too was very surprised by how narrow it looked once I recieved it. Now, only a few months later my daughter looks very uncomfortable sitting in it...and forget reclining her in it! I now have to buy another stroller so unless you only want something to use while your child is quite small; trust me and go with another stroller. Oh, and by the way since I know some will assume children that do not fit are large - my daughter is somewhat tall and quite slender. Go ahead, look at the dimensions (I wish I had) this stroller is 17.5 inches wide and most others are 19.5
Customer Review: The Cadillac of umbrella strollers Summary: 5 StarsThis stroller lives up to its reputation. It is much sturdier than the cheap $10 umbrella strollers. It's worth the extra money. I also have one of the cheap umbrella strollers and after less than a year, the wheels are no longer turning properly, rendering it useless and destined for the trash bin.
Customer Review: Great until 6-9 months Summary: 3 StarsWe loved this little stroller until my daughter turned about 9 months. It is too narrow so we now have to purchase another light stroller. One of the seat belt buckles also broke too. Also, the umbrella shade thing is a bit annoying.
