Safely and Easily Attaches Mobiles to Cribs Safely attach crib mobiles with J.L. Childress easy-to-use Crib Mobile Attachment Clamp! The Crib Mobile Attachment Clamp features large rubber pads that grip the crib railing and protect your crib from scratches and damage left by knob-and-post style arms. Use the clamp as a replacement for knob-and-post styles that don't fit in all cribs. The Crib Mobile Attachment Clamp fits onto both traditional and convertible cribs, including Baby's Dream and specialty and decorative cribs. The clamp opens to 2" wide and the arm features a convenient safety button to lock the clamp in position. The quick-attach baby bed's clamp is easy to use simply push on the lever to open the clamp and slide it over the crib railing; the clamp will automatically adjust to the width of the railing. Customer Review: way too short!

I made a mobile for my new baby and needed the "arm" to attach it to her crib. When I ordered this I assumed it would look like all the attachment clamps that come with store-bought mobiles, but it's FAR shorter and really not tall enough to hang anything safely down over the crib. It may work for someone who has something very short to hang, but anything resmbling a standard mobile will hang too low into the crib if suspended from this product.
I was really dissappointed because this is the only product of this type that I found when I searched, so I think I'm out of luck!
