As the nana who does the babysitting, I absolutely love this item!
When baby is dropped off the first thing I grab is the Itzbeen to see how long it's been since the baby ate, pooped, or had it's meds!
Same goes when mom picks baby up, I don't have to make that second call to tell mom that baby didn't poop (making sure baby not constipated) all day or I have already given the baby it's latest dose of medication!
Used it a lot when first born for feeding etc, but now that baby is old it's still useful.
I print out labels and stick on it to keep track of different things. Like now baby has ear infection and on antibiotic, tylenol etc. I just stuck different labels on the Itzbeen and set the timers. I keep it sitting on my end table and when I see it flashing I know it's time for meds again!
Wonderful Item. One of those things you don't know you need until you have it!

I added this to my registry based on the positive reviews and I am so glad someone got it for us! We've used it for almost a year now and haven't had to replace the batteries. The only down side (but I still gave it 5 stars) is that sometimes--not always--if dropped, it resets all the counters to 0:00. That's a bit of a pain when it happens but it is rare. We used the timer to figure out our daughter's own feeding & sleeping patterns and used that info to create a rough schedule for her so we could anticipate her needs rather than waiting until she got upset. Now we have a very happy baby who rarely cries because her needs are met on time! Also, as we use cloth diapers and need to change her about every 2 hours, this is a great tool for keeping us on track, when it is so easy to get distracted and forget something. Highly recommend this little thing to all my new mom friends or to friends who are heading to baby showers and don't know what to get the parents-to-be.Customer Review: BUY IT, STOP SURFING REVIEWS & JUST BUY IT!

My son was born in July and I can say for a fact that (6 months later) I'm still using it! In the beginning, I used it ALL the time for tracking feeding/sleeping/changing & tracking my own pain meds too. Now, (as a breastfeeding mom) I still use it to see how long 'itzbeen' since my son last ate, to track how long I pump, and to track how long he sleeps. The bonus feature on this thing is the little night light. I can just click it on and feed him and/or change him without turning on any lights... and it's just enough light to get me up and own the stairs without killing myelf. I've only had to change the batteries once. Also, it beeps when you start the timer (you can turn this feature off too) AND you can lock the timers so that someone else can't reset any of them without unlocking it... nice if there are other little ones around dying to push the buttons. I'm planning to get this, a swaddleme, and a nursing tank top for all my expectant friends.Customer Review: Great concept. Can't compete w/ Total Baby.

I bought this product when my twins were first born and it was helpful. It takes some of the hassle out of keeping track. HOWEVER, it has many limitations. It's bulky, takes batteries, and I was disappointed by the lack of other tracking options. There were times that I'd find myself jotting down other notes w pen and paper because Itzbeen couldn't keep track of everything that I needed it to. A friend recommended that I download an app called "Total Baby" on my Ipod ($4.99). With it I can track feeding, sleeping, diapers, baths, milestones, growth charts, medication, doctor visits, etc. I mean EVERYTHING! I can even write additional notes if I need to. I can even track multiple children with one device. If you have an Ipod/Iphone GET THIS APP BEFORE YOU SPEND A DIME ON THIS PRODUCT. It is a must have and blows the Itzbeen out of the water. This item was absolutely invaluable! I read about it in an article and casually bought it. Little did I know that it would be by my side and an essential tool for the first 3 mos of my daughters life. As most people know, the first few months are a bit blurry with sleep deprivation and added responsibilties. But, this gadget reliably kept track of diaper changes and feedings which proves to be amazing on those days when it's a struggle to decipher whether it's day or night. And it's usefulness is maintained as your child grows because there are multiple timers that can be used to track the administering of medication, think Tylenol when teething. It even has a handy little night-light for you to use as you stumble back to your bed. My first timer malfunctioned (apparently it was part of a bad batch) but the company was amazing to deal with and replaced my timer the next day and were outstanding with their customer service skills. Totally worth it!
