Flushable liners can be used between the diaper and the baby's skin, letting moisture pass through to the diaper while preventing solids to soak into the diaper, which will take the mess out of washing your cloth diapers. Customer Review: Imse Vimse flushable liners - a great "catch"

So we've been using these liners for a few months, since my son made the move to solids and breastfed baby poop was no longer the only thing going through the wash. Blech! We have a front-loading washer, and the rinse cycle doesn't do a fantastic job of agitating all the solids out.
Before going further TMI... here's the run-down with the Imse Vimse liners:
-- REUSABILITY: What people say about them being washable and reusable is entirely true. I've had some liners that I know we've washed and rewashed a few times. A huge plus considering the cost.
-- COVERAGE: The liners cover the diapers very well. That said, they're really wide like others have noted. This doesn't bother us but it may be aesthetically unpleasing to some. (We use the liners with BumGenius 3.0 and Fuzzibunz dipes.) Others have said they cut the liners but we haven't done this yet.
-- CONVENIENCE: Huge, huge factor in us continuing to buy these liners. There is nothing like being able to take the poop and saying the ultimate goodbye in flushing it down the toilet. No dealing with the yuck or stink in your garbage.
- UNEXPECTED: These can easily be mistaken for dryer sheets! Our son goes to a childcare center, so we've had to educate the providers, particularly substitutes, that these are actually liners. :)
- OVERALL VALUE: I'd give it 5 stars based upon convenience, reusability, and coverage. Of course I'd like a cheaper price, but I don't know what would be sacrificed to do so. When you're a parent (especially of more than one child, as we are) and working hard doing laundry, etc. to keep your baby's bum clean and environmentally friendly, a treat like the Imse Vimse liners is definitely worth it.
