Baby Products Reviews of Halo Innovations SleepSack Wearable Blankets Cotton in Baby Yellow - MediumCustomer Review: The most used item in our baby's wardrobe Summary: 5 StarsWe got a few different sleep sacks as gifts, and this one is by far the most useful one. This is probably the single most used item in her entire wardrobe; we use it every day!
We have some sacks with sleeves, and the problem with them is the sleeves never quite fit. There are about 2 weeks when the sleeves actually fits, and for the rest of the few months, they are either too long or too short. And trying to put a sleeping baby through sleeves is not exactly an easy task, so we love the fact that this one is sleeveless - much easier to put on, and the fit is way better.
The material is very comfortable and easy to clean, in case it is stained with whatever came out of the baby. We also like that it zips from top to bottom. We can change her diaper without completely unzipping the sack, and this makes it very useful in the middle of the night. With sacks that go from bottom to top, we had to unzip it all the way down, and that always wakes our daughter because she can feel a much bigger temperature difference. And did I mention she likes to munch on those zipper tabs?
Soon after we tried this one, we purchased a few more and put away all other sleep sacks and blankets in boxes. With this sleep sack, we get the ease of use from a blanket (no need to maneuver a baby through tight shoulders and sleeves) and the peace of mind from a sack (won't cover a baby's face and suffocate her; won't come off no matter how she kicks and rolls). That's the best of both worlds!
Customer Review: Baby won't sleep without it! Summary: 5 StarsWe've been using these since our 6 month old was born. They've been great - both the fleece and the cotton ones. As he gets older and likes his routines better, he likes this so much he won't go to sleep without it anymore. It's easy to get him in and out of, and the zippers on all of them have been sturdy (I think we've had 6 or 7 now as he's moved up in sizes). They wash great too. He goes to bed wide awake, and plays with his feet through the sleepsack, and keeps himself entertained that way in the morning too while I get a few extra minutes of sleep myself. He hated the swaddling sacks, always kicked his way free in a few minutes or less, even at just a few days old. And I get paranoid about having loose blankets in the crib with him so little still, so this has been a great alternative.
Customer Review: Good product overall, but didn't know it was this thin... Summary: 4 StarsMy daughter (6 months old) keeps kicking the regular blankets off when she sleeps. So I've been looking for something for her. And I want it in cotton b/c she has eczema and is sensitive to non-cotton material. I bought an XL so that my daughter can use it for a while. Overall it's a good product. Now I don't have to worry about her catching a cold or anything. The only drawback is it's too thin. I don't think it'll be enough at all for Chicago winters. I'll have to look for something else. Even now I still cover her with a blanket just in case. But at least I don't have to keep thinking about it.
Customer Review: Sized well and cozy Summary: 4 StarsThis is a warm, nicely sized sleep sack. The fabric has washed well without shrinking or pilling. It's also roomy enough to allow my 9 month old to crawl all over and stand up & cruise around his crib before & after sleeping. I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 because the zipper sticks sometimes at the beginning of zipping and the yellow is brighter than what is pictured online. I was expecting more of a butter yellow, but it was brighter in person.

Customer Review: roomy Summary: 5 Starsmost of these sell in sizes 0-9 months - I was so pleased to find an x-l - my baby is big - 22lb at 6 months and I love these sleep blankets - it is very roomy - I could have used a large for him now, but it works and it will last a while. Well worth the price.
