We bought this product for our daughters room. We love it! It's great to be able to peek in and "see" the temperature without having to go into the room. We have found that it the temp is accurate for our house. The only reason I did not give this prodcut 5 stars is because I do not agree with the "safe" temperature ranges. My doctor prefers for the room to be between 68 and 79 degrees while the eggs suggested temp is much lower.Customer Review: Okay thermometer for baby's room

Overall, I am satisfied with this product. I am not sure how super accurate it is, but it is nice to peek in the baby's room and do a quick temperature check. The only other complaint that I have (and it is not really a complaint because I did not read the product description very well) is that this product plugs in and does not run on batteries. We live overseas, and we cannot use it without a converter.Customer Review: Very helpful

The egg definitely works for me. It's very helpful at night when I peek into my baby's room and only need to look at the color of the egg to see if the room is the correct temperature. I'm not sure why others say it only reads 77 degrees, maybe their egg was broken. My egg reads the exact temperature and it's extremely accurate. I've been using the egg for a month or so now and have found it to be pretty accurate as long as it's not positioned near a window. I've checked the temperature alot of times using my high end digital thermometer and it's usually +/- 1 degree. rarely will it be off by 2 degrees. The color is easily seen and so is are the digital numbers. Guess I got a good one.Customer Review: Temperature was never correct

I purchased and returned two of these. The first one was off by 5 full degrees. I knew it wasn't 65 in the room so i compared it against 2 other thermometers (both said 70 which seemed correct). I returned the first one and then the second one varied -- it was off by as little as 3 degrees sometimes and other times was off by as much as 10 degrees!
