I did not use this for a baby but instead for an elderly mother whose bedroom happens to be downstairs while mine is upstairs. I found the monitor works very well. I can even take it across the street to my sister's house and can still hear it. My fear was of my mother falling and the monitor has made my life much easier.Customer Review: Pleased

I am happy with this product. We have placed the base in several different areas of the house including the downstairs far corner and we can hear through the monitor just fine. This monitor is terrific! It's simple but it does the job. I've had this monitor for 4 years and it's worked without fail. I'm getting ready to buy another one for my second child, as the first 2 (not Graco monitors) have broken in less than 1 year. Have been using for 4 years, practically non-stop and it works fantastic. People are right, no frills. I have only had interference (heard someones cell or walkie talkie) twice. This baby monitor works good and is easy to hear through. My only complaint is that it tends to have a lot of static at times with a bit of a hum. Otherwise for the price it is a good deal.
