These monitors are very clear, and can be turned up VERY loud. They wake up my boyfriend on low during his shift with baby, and almost nothing wakes him up. My son often spits up long after feedings when we put him down, and sometimes he chokes on it in bed... this monitor picks up the gurglings so we can go in and make sure he's okay. We like that it has a visual guage for how loud he is getting. There is some static, and some sort of high pitched tone sometimes, but we live in apartments and I'm sure there is interference from upstairs. Our phones chagers cannot be plugged in on the same socket. For the price, these are worth the money :)Customer Review: Best Purchase I've Made In a Long Time

I needed a way to hear my elderly mother when she called me without having to stay in the same room. I decided to try a baby monitor, although I had never used one before. I went to Amazon.com and read the reviews. I was skeptical of the price of this one, thinking I would have to pay a lot more to get high quality. After reading the reviews I decided to try. This is one of the nicest items I've found. The sound is excellent and I can even take it outside and sit on the porch with the doors completely closed. I'm using this cute little compact device not as a baby monitor, but a security monitor. The idea is to be able to hear what's going on on the other side of the house at night while sleeping. It is placed next to a motion sensor in the living room. If the motion sensor goes off, the warning sound from it is pickup and sent to the bedroom.
I didn't think the signal would reach 60 feet but it does. The microphone is so sensitive, it can pickup the sound of a ticking wall clock! There is no interference in the signal so it won't keep you awake. ALL 3 PARTS INCLUDE A AC ADAPTER! No need for ANY batteries!

I bought this after reviewing several baby monitors. Everywhere I searched there were always a few extreme negative reviews, except for this one. Many people had reviewed this to be a good one. So decided to go for it. I am happy with it. I have only used it on one channel so far ( it comes with two ). I hear a little humming on one channel but it's not noticeable or annoying. It may not be the case on the second channel, I haven't tried it as the slight humming does not bother me much. It picks up my baby's cry clearly as well as any other noises happening anywhere in the room. I would recommend this monitor to others.Customer Review: Easy Laundry Fix

We use these to monitor the progress of our laundry. Our washer and dryer live in the basement of our 3 story townhouse. I took apart one of the two listening units just long enough to snip one of the speaker wires. On laundry day we turn on the base unit and set one of the listening units (either the one with audio or the modified unit with just visual) next to the tv and know exactly when our laundry is finished. While our washer and dryer are new, they don't have buzzers. This was a real pain in the buns until we put this inexpensive fix in place. These units work flawlessly for our purposes. Highly recommended!
