Baby Products Reviews of Graco TotBloc Pack 'N Play with Carry Bag, Bugs QuiltCustomer Review: great playyard Summary: 4 Stars
I purchased this playard for my 6 month old grandaughter. My 3 children used playpens, now they call them playards. After much research, I settled on this Graco one. It is of a good size, and very colorful, with cute little toys attached to all 4 sides.
I feel as well as my daughter that babies need to be in a safe place, and that is not crawling all over the house. They also need to be left alone to develop their sense of amusing themselves as well as being played with. Our grandaughter doesn't crawl, but she can sit and roll around for exercise and can get all of her toys herself in the playard.
I only wish that it was a little bit larger, but this is still one of the largest ones I have found. The pad is thicker than most and washable. We like the portability of this and it is easily set up outside and we know that she is safe from all the pesticides, and whatever maybe on the grass.
Playards of this size are not available in stores, so I took a chance and ordered it online from Amazon, it was delivered quickly and we are very happy with this purchase.
Customer Review: Wonderful product!! Summary: 5 Stars
This by far beats all other pack and plays on the market. It is extremely easy to set up, take down, and pack away. This is sturdier than any other I've seen and the floor pad is softer and thicker. There are no uncomfortable bars that can be felt across the bottom. I also like that the fabric isn't noisy and is easy to wipe off. My 6 month old son loves to roll around in this and kick at the toys on the sides so they make noise. He also sleeps very well in it when we travel. This is larger than most, which is what I wanted so I could use it on a daily basis as a playpen at home. I know this will hold up well to the abuse my son will give it and he'll be well secured as he he grows bigger and stronger! I just couldn't see the other small pack and plays being able to withstand toddlerhood as well as I feel this one will. The Tot Block is bright, fun, and kid friendly. If you feel strongly about safety, comfort, and security for your little one, this is the peace of mind you are looking for. It is a great product at great price!!!
Customer Review: Lots of Room to Move Summary: 5 Stars
We purchased this for my son when he was about 8 months. It was a livesaver for us as we had an open floorplan with stairs and needed a place where we knew he could be safe and not get into anything.
My son enjoys the interactive critters on the "walls" of the playyard and we are able to get plenty of toys inside with room for him as well. We like that it was convenient for moving outdoors or vacation, but mainly keep it in our living room/dining room/kitchen area.
The product is very sturdy, so much so that we sometimes have to struggle to remember how to collapse it (I would not consider this a drawback as the last thing you would want is for it to collapse on the child). The bottom is rugged and has a good amount of padding. The top edges are also padded. It is larger than most folding playyards and square, so it might be a tight fit for smaller homes or apartments, but these attributes were what drew us to this model.
Overall, I would consider this a great playyard.
Customer Review: Great but has Major FLAW!!! Can't Wash Summary: 3 Stars
Great but has Major FLAW!!! Can't Wash
I love this playpen and so does my son but the unit has 1 very bad major flaw. You can't wash the mat that goes at the bottom. It's sealed in a vinyl frabic and inside is a foam with cardboard! Well if the cardboard wasn't there then we could throw this into the wash but you can't and after about a week it just reaks of our son's throwup. Baby's always throw up and this pad really should just have a zipper on the side of it to remove the cardboard so it could be washed.
Directions say to just wash with soapy sponge but that doesn't get the throwup outta the foam mattress part.
Very bad design decisio on their part.
We were thinking of bring to a dry cleaner so they could cut a line down side and add a zipper so we could remove the cardboard pieces so we could throw into wash.
Other than that unit is great. My son enjoys it but I think he's even not enjoying the smell anylonger. He's 7 months at the moment.
Customer Review: what a godsendd !!! Summary: 5 Stars
I really am very pleased with the pack and play PLAYYARD that i recently purchased from Amazon.com/ I take care of my 2 grandsons and the youngest is a little over 1 yr and not walking. Well to be very honest, I am a little too old to be chasing the little one all over my house. (he is really FAST ). When my kids were his age, I did have the conventional playpen which allowed me to get things done around the house and this always worked out well. When I was looking for something similiar, all I could find was the pack and play...more or less just for napping or staying over nana's house..This is not what I wanted..To my surprise as I was on my computer I saw this playard and the picture caught my eye. I read on and after seeing the dimensions, I ordered it and am very happy with it..Not only is it roomy enough to let him play but it also is a great little place to nap...Nana's out for it!!!!!
