Customer Review: It has no front adjustment!

Although it is very cute, I would NOT recommend this seat. Many Graco seats have a single strap in the lower front to adjust the tension of the shoulder straps.... this does not. It has two metal rings, behind the seat. The shoulder strapping must be worked through these individually to adjust the fit of the straps. I have two older children and remember that that the straps have to be adjusted almost every time the baby is wearing different clothes, to fit snugly and safely. I have returned this seat and am spending a little bit more for one with the front strap (the Graco snugride in "Giselle"). Its well worth it to have something simple and easy, as versus a daily bother.Customer Review: Beware of contact dermatitis/baby rash

Whereas I like the style of this carseat, my son (and my sister's son, one month younger) developed a terrible rash from skin contact to the fabric. I took my son to two dermatologists and two pediatricians before we found out this was what caused it. Once I covered up the car seat before putting him in, the rash disappeared. The pediatrician says it's likely due to the flame retardant chemicals they use on the fabric. Either way - spare your baby the topical steroids and numerous doctor's appointments, not to mention the painful looking rash and discomfort, and if you purchase this cover the fabric. A large pillowcase cut through for the straps works well.Customer Review: great item for the price!

When the handle started to go on our old Graco seat (this is our third baby) we started looking around for a replacement. I wanted something more feminine since people kept thinking my daughter was a boy because her car seat was a blue plaid but all we could find was bright pink. I saw this at a locally owned baby store and loved it. However they wanted a lot more for it and were not willing to budge on the price. Ordered it on Amazon and got free shipping - What a deal!! It came within a few days and was in perfect condition. I love that the handle has two positions and the canopy is much less flimsy than our old one. I bought this car seat for our 4th baby born in June, and have used it daily since then. The base is fixed in a Nissan Quest 2004 to the secure base clips - very good fixing and easy to install so i was impressed with that 5 stars. The car seat fits in and can be removed well, a easy to used release button/lever. The let down if you like was the actual car seat. There is very little padding around the baby, and my daughter has never seemed that comfortable in it. The 5 point harness cant be tightened/loosened whilst in place - it has to be done from behind the seat which is a big nightmare!

I did plenty of research for a car seat for my firstborn, and the Snugfit got the best safety reviews. And we just loved the pring- perfect for a boy or a girl. I had heard how hard car seats were to install in the car, but it was a BREEZE. I had it installed in the backseat within five minutes. My car has the LATCH system, and it has worked great. My daughter loves being in her car seat, and I have always felt perfectly safe with her in it. I was surprised to read the other reviews, since I have never experienced a single one of those issues with my car seat. I would highly recommend this seat to any parent.
