I have been using the Graco Snugride since my son was about 2 months old - he's now five months old. The seat and the base are both easy to install and the seat is easy to adjust and to carry. As the product name suggests, my son fits snugly and comfortably into the seat.
The only problem that I have is with the process for adjusting the harness. The buckles to do so are at the back of the seat and do not allow the harness straps to move easily. I have found that I have to get behind the seat and really work at the straps and the buckles to adjust the seat properly, which is difficult to do if the seat and baby are already in the car. Apart from that, the seat provides good value for the price.

We bought this seat because it was the slimmest one available and we were trying to fit it, along with two other toddler size car seats, in the back of our 2003 Toyota Corrola. Things I love about this seat are: 1) it did indeed fit and 2) it's very stylish. Things I don't love so much: 1)it's sometimes a little hard to tell if it's seated properly in the base (because I have another car seat next to it, I can't easily check the level), 2) the release catch to remove it from the base can be a little tricky to find at first without bending over and looking and 3) the straps tighten with a mechanism that's not as nice as the one on other car seats. But overall, it's safe, it's nice and it's slim. I like it!Customer Review: Not the quite the carseat advertised

I was hoping to find an infant carseat that fit babies up to 30 pounds so that I did not have to buy a middle-sized carseat before moving up to the booster/toddler carseat that I already own.
This carseat, when shipped, was not the Graco Snugride 2, as advertised, and does not go up to 30 pounds as it says in the product description. It is just the Graco Snugride. It only holds infants up to 22 pounds. I decided to keep it because it was hard to find an infant carseat that does go up to 30 pounds.
I haven't used it yet except to fit it into the car, so can't say much beyond that. Just wanted to let those browsing this product know that it's not quite what it says it is.

I bought this product from Amazon because the description cleary states this item includes "Removable, all-weather boot with blanket helps protect your baby from the elements". I received the car seat and upon opening the box I found out it does not include these items. I called the manufactor and they state there is no removable blanket and boot protector for this model. Beware other Graco car seats on Amazon also list that it comes with the Removable, all-weather boot with blanket but most of the ones on Amazon do NOT come with these items. Check the Graco website to find out which models really do come with these 2 items. I am very dissapointed as that is a big reason I choose this model.Customer Review: great, soft, not as heavy as other brands

This is a very good car-seat. It is soft and seems confortable for the baby.
I just wanted to add that the color is more kaki than white, I was expecting some much lighter hue.
The size is good, and a word to those deciding what to buy:
. This car seat does not have the side impact protection. That is the only con.
. The bigger the car seat the longer you will be able to use it BUT, the heavier and bulkier it will be. With the new bigger carseats you are talking about carrying 50 pounds to get your baby out of the car with the seat (25 for the seat, about 25 -or even more- with the baby). So that is something to consider before buying.
