The SnugRide comes with a stay-in-car base, allowing the car seat to be quickly, conveniently installed and removed to double as an easy-to-use infant carrier. The stay-in-car base can be easily, securely installed using the car's seat belt or, if you have a newer-model vehicle, the LATCH system.
An easy-to-read level indicator helps make sure that the seat is installed correctly. Once the base is installed, simply snap the car seat into the base, and remove it with the push of a button to use it as a carrier. A sturdy, ergonomic handle makes it easy and safe to carry the carrier on your arm, and it makes transporting your fragile newborn and sleeping older infants all the easier. The SnugRide is also compatible with many Graco strollers; simply snap the seat out of your vehicle, into your stroller, and go.

Customer Review: WARNING - not all colors/styles have the front adjustable strap!

I am an expecting parent, so I haven't used the product yet. My review is based on Amazon's misrepresentation of the product features. The colors/styles are NOT interchangeable! Amazon advertises a 5-point harness with front adjustable strap. HOWEVER, we just bought the Tango in the Tongo style, and it did NOT come with this strap. We didn't realize this was a problem until we finished a Newborn Essentials class, where the instructor said that that front adjustment strap is important to have, otherwise, you have to reach behind the back of the seat to pull the straps in order to ensure the baby is tight and secure in the car seat. This is definitely less convenient than pulling on a single front strap, and it causes parents to skimp on adjusting the straps properly.
Even if you're OK with reaching behind to secure the straps, Amazon shouldn't advertise this product as being identical except for the fabrics. You can even see this in the photos. You can see the front strap in "Little Lamb", but not the others. If you go to Graco's site, you'll see that the front strap is considered a feature, that is not available with all car seat fabrics. Hopefully Amazon will correct their description soon.
