This is pretty much a must-have for infant seats, I don't know why they don't just sell them together. Bases are great because you secure the base once with the seatbelt, then just pop the car seat/carrier in and out with a simple little latch. If you have someone else that is going to be picking up your child in their carseat you definitely want to get an extra base for their car! It isn't safe to unhook your base and transfer it from car to car all the time, this makes it so you know it is securely attached at all time. AND it is LATCH capable! I actually have 2 of these! ;)Customer Review: Love it!

I have three of these bases. One on my truck one in my hubbys and one in grandmas truck. It was super easy and a time saver not having to take one base out and move it each time we switched what truck or person had my son. Its a great thing and I just wish his new seat had bases like this now that he grew out of that style seat.Customer Review: This does not work with the Snugride 32

I accidentally got this car seat instead of the one for my Snugride 32. It does not fit! Being called the Snugride I thought they were all the same. There is no info in the description that would point you otherwise. We needed an extra base for my sister who watches my daughter and it works exactly like the base that came with our travel system. According to our local consignment shops, they are not allowed to sell used bases anymore, so if you need an extra base for a Graco SnugRide Travel System, this is what you want to get.
