Customer Review: Very Good, but as a car seat...

I bought this car seat together with the the Gracco Car Seat Stroller Frame (read my review if you wanna know more), so I would save money and be more practible. So I thought... As a car seat, it is good, but if you plan, like me, to use more as a stroller, not a good idea... The car seat itself is heavy and very hard to carry it around or on the frame up and down steps. Not only that, my baby, that is 10 weeks old, since he was probably 3 weeks, didnt like it, too tight! I doubt it'll fit my baby till 1 year old, but we'll use till he can stand it! I'd still recommend it as I dont think other car seats are that different... For the price is very good!Customer Review: Excellent car seat!!

This car seat is extremely easy to use. The shoulder harness was had to adjust (the back was hard to pull off), but once you have it adjusted, the seat is easier than others to use. Also, the arm is sooo much easier to adjust than other car seats!!
The only real negative thing I have about this car seat is that it's hard to get in and out of the vehicle. The other car seat I uesd had the button on the feet of the seat, which made it so much easier to maneuver.
My son is MUCH more comfortable in this seat - it has more padding, more room for him to grow, and he doesn't sweat as much as he did in the other seat.

I just got this today and I love the colors of the fabric. The fabric could be softer but its not bad. It does have some padding to so its not as hard as some seats. The only things I would change about this seat is the gray plastic I would change to tan and the sunshade has a peep hole I would put a zipper cover on it. Also they could put the yellow caution sticker on another spot so that it did not show, not to big of a deal. It is not to heavy though which is nice. I like that it has the teather in the front to easily tighten the straps with little effort. A huge plus with little ones growing so fast.Customer Review: Great Graco

We've been using this seat for 8 months now and love it. DD just turned a year and is still under the limits for this seat. It is a HUGE, heavy seat so do keep that in mind. DD started using it when she was already 13 pounds so I have no idea what it would be like for a younger child. It is also true that the straps are too short to keep them out of the way. That really hasn't been an issue for us since dd is never put in asleep. She has slept in this seat for hours with no issues. We used it in the summer and didn't find she got any hotter than normal. I'll keep this short. Have had this car seat for 9months now. My child is 9months, 21lbs, and in the 70% for height. We are having an incredibly hard time squeezing him into the car seat now, despite the fact that it's advertised to accomodate children upto 32lbs. As other reviewers have commented, his winter coats makes it extremely difficult getting him into the shortened straps. I always feel like I'm going to break his arm, and he definitely doesn't enjoy it either. If I had to do it over again, I would have pruchased the standard size (but my wife liked the color scheme of this one).
