Baby Products Reviews of Graco Quattro Tour Deluxe Stroller, ZurichCustomer Review: Love it! Summary: 5 StarsWe got this stroller in Blackwell pattern. It's not a midsized stroller, definately LARGE, but that's what we wanted for the long walks and zoo trips and such. It's GREAT! Folds with the twist of the wrist. Easy assembly, everything is sturdy. Adapts to hold our snugride car seat sturdy. very comfy for baby, great on bumps, easy to steer. When the seat is all the way down it's difficult to get anything in the carry net on the bottom, but the handles are perfect for draping the diaper bag over and we carry it that way.
The only complaint I have, if any, is that after it's folded, the latch that secures it so it doesn't open back up when you lift it pops off a lot. Doesn't stay fastened. I have to hold it onto the peg when I lift it. They should rethink that. But besides that, I think this stroller is great.
Customer Review: Wheel assemblies break easily - replacements are very slow to arrive Summary: 1 StarsI've had a Graco Quattro stroller for 18 months and have just had to order a replacement front wheel assembly for the second time. The plastic piece that connects the front wheels to the metal frame cracks easily. Graco charges more than $25 to ship you a replacement. The first time the wheel assembly cracked it took almost a month for the replacement part to arrive. This time they tell me it could take almost two months. They tell me that this is because the parts come from Asia - they had no satisfactory answer when I asked why they could not anticipate demand and keep them in stock. This is highly unsatisfactory, especially considering the cost of the stroller. I will not be buying any Graco products again and would not recommend them.
Customer Review: This is the ONLY one with adjustable footrest!!!! Summary: 4 StarsI just received my Graco Quattro Tour Samba and I have to say, I love it! It has everything the other Quattro Tour Deluxes have EXCEPT...this is the only one, yes the only one that also has an adjustable footrest, which was the main factor for my decision to buy this stroller.
The footrest also goes all they way up and makes a bassinet kind of space for the baby so you don't have to use the car seat all the time. I am actually planning to put the baby in facing me which seems absolutely possible...in fact in Europe the Quattro Tour Strollers are being used with a carrycot and a little fabric flap on top of the canopy to make it into a carriage. That's how I got the idea for turning the baby around.
The fabric is beautiful, very stylish, for moms and dads - and best of all - easy to clean. You can wipe it clean or throw the whole cover in the wash.
The Quattro steers wonderfully and I find the height of the handles just right (I am 5'4 - they are on the high side - perfect for either my husband, who is a little bigger or me)...too bad they didn't make it adjustable like in many other strollers.
The canopy is awesome...it's HUGE...and it rotates all the way with no problems so your child is protected from the sun from any angle.
The basket is huge and seems very sturdy. It can be lowered when the backrest is fully reclined which is very practical.
In the parent console is a time and temperature tracker which is not really necessary but a nice thing to have anyways...
I didn't give the stroller 5 stars because the backrest is way to low - my 2 1/2 year old is way above it (and he is average height). It just doesn't make sense to me why they would extend the weight range of the new strollers to 50lbs. but not change the size of the backrest.
I figure this is just going to be our travel system, first year and a half kind of stroller, depending of the size of our baby.
Other than that, if you are looking for a stroller with tons of features that looks stylish and even matches an amazing infant car seat (Graco SafeSeat) - this is the one. It's definitely worth the money.
Customer Review: Saw this product in the store Summary: 3 StarsI am disapointed with the way this product looked. I saw it at Toy's r us. It is not like the other quatro deluxe strollers. It doesn't have the temp gage and it has plastic wheels. However, I did like the pattern. I'm not in love with the fusion pattern but It has all the other things that the renaisance pattern is missing. I really want a matching stroller to the safeseat only because of how much it costs I want to get more use out of it per child. I know next year or so all the graco strollers will have the safeseat that goes up to 30lb because it's more practical. There will be more of a selection and there will be probably one that I will love. Castleton is my favorite but it doesn't have the safeseat. I gave it three stars because it's in the middle.
