This monitor has kept me from ever wondering if my baby is breathing in the middle of the night. I test it frequently and it works. There has NEVER been a false alarm (everyone warned me I would lose my mind if it went off by accident, it hasn't). The only drawback, the channel is not so clear, there is static when you listen to it, but the peace of mind knowing he is ok is worth every penny. (I have a cheaper fisher price monitor for when I just want to monitor noise during the day, but I would not have another monitor for his bedroom.)Customer Review: Great Piece of Mind

We bought this product based on a suggestion from our pediatrician. When our son was sick it did go off because of shallow breathing...he was fine, but it was good to know that it works. At first we got a couple "false alarms" but we adjusted the sensitivity a little and works fine. The only thing we did not like was the monitor, which is on a low frequency 49mhz, and if you use the montior it is sometimes static. We just use the movement sensor along with our other Baby monitor. Works great. Highly suggested, worth the money!Customer Review: Excellent product - good for peace of mind & sleep!

We got this after our premie son went of his apnea/heart monitor, mainly for peace of mind for me. It is very much worth the money! I would not trade the comfort of knowing he is safe and okay while he's sleeping for anything. This has really made it easy to sleep at night knowing that if something happens, we will know! Our son is now 8 months old and I still have it on every night and we don't get any false alarms (have to be sure the sensor is set correctly and to the right level) even when he's rolling around his crib.Customer Review: Excellent product

This is a great product. My wife and I sleep much more soundly at night knowing that our baby is being monitored by this product while she sleeps. I've had the monitor about 5 months and only two times a false alarm has sounded. This occurred because she was not in the center of the bed and was breathing lightly at the same time. To me this is no big deal to check up on her. I prefer the machine to err on the side of caution than to confuse vibrations in the house as baby movements. While the sensor is a great feature and certainly offers peace of mind (which is why we got it), the actual monitoring leaves much to be desired. The monitor is very prone to interference, has terrible range and constantly "hisses".. there is no sound-activated feature where it's muted while there is no or almost no noise. This is particularly annoying at night. The build quality is also pretty bad. One of our transmitters fell about 3 feet and broke immediately.
