Many expensive baby accessories are not worth the investment. This is an exception - lifesaver in the airport! Sturdy construction, great wheels, easy snap-off so it goes in the overhead bin. We checked the stroller, used the carseat on the airplane (so much easier than a loose 2 year old on a five hour flight!), and were able to take cabs and ride in others' cars at our destination b/c we had the carseat. If you are going to fly more than 2-3 times with a toddler, this is absolutely worth the investment! Also great for transporting a kid to a zipcar or iGo location if you don't own a car yourself.Customer Review: SOOOO WONDERFUL!

I CANNOT tell you what a LIFESAVER this product is!!! We were loaded down with not only bags to check, but with the max number of carry-ons. It would not have been possible to get our special needs daughter and her HEAVY car seat through the Atlanta airport without the Travelmate! Our daughter loved the security of her car seat in that busy new environment, and it was a breeze to push or pull her!! With the quick release strap, going through security and boarding the plane were a snap as well!! I would DEFINITELY recommend this product to anyone travelling with a child who needs a car seat!!!Customer Review: Mother's Helper

I recently flew with my 11 month old son using the Travel Mate. It worked like a charm. I was able to assemble it easily, it rolled well, and fit into all the xray machines without being taken apart. My son was comfortable and enjoyed seeing the world. Using this and checking the seat at the gate meant that I could make it through the airport process comfortably also, and I didn't have to worry about getting a safe carseat at my destination. One note: the telescoping handle seems to prefer being at its highest level, which was awkward for my short grandmother. This replaced a sit & stroll that I had and was unimpressed with. This was exactly what I needed for travel with my 18 mo. old! It received many oohs and ahhs from others in the airport. She loved strolling in her car seat. Assembly was simple with my Britax car seat, construction was sturdy and we had no trouble going through security in our local airport or in Orlando's airport (in both airports they scanned it like a wheelchair so we did not have to disassemble it). I checked it at the gate, so I didn't have to try to carry it down the airplane aisle or fit it into an airline seat.Customer Review: Best travel tool a parent can have

We used our first GoGo Travelmate so much that the plastic actually cracked in two pieces (5 years of use, probably 10-15 trips a year, 40+ lbs of kid on top of car seat and bags, and undoubtedly overtightening which put too much pressure on the plastic...). The new model does have a nifty new strap that replaces the screws and makes the on/off process much easier. Not having to keep track of the attachment piece is a huge improvement. We estimate that we have sold about 20 of these just by walking through airports. It's a life saver and well worth the money.
