Customer Review: Good product but not what I expected

I purchased one of these lids from a grocery store a few years ago. I really liked it. It goes on top of a water bottle and it even fits on a Vapur water anti-bottle. And the one I got at the grocery store a few years ago would not allow any air back in the bottle, and therefore would not leak. But the ones I just purchased seem to have been made a little differently and the valve opens back up after drinking and lets air in, which allows it to leak. So I don't know if they really changed their valves or if I received a dud. I can still use the lids but they do tend to spill and my son can squeeze the water out of this one and he can't squeeze the water out of the one I got at the grocery store. So I was a little disappointed.Customer Review: terrible

I would love to say that I liked these. I love the idea of them. As soon as I received them I tried them out. I put one on a bottle and took a sip. Seems perfect! Then I turned the bottle upsidedown to see what happened and water came pouring out as if there was no valve. When I looked inside, the valve opened but didn't close. So I tried the second lid that came in the package. Same thing. So I poked the tip of a chopstick in to close the valve. Tried again and the same thing happened. So... I'm going to try a different brand. I hope the next ones work.Customer Review: The Best!

My mom gave me one of these before I had my daughter. The first time I used it she was 9 months old and she loved it! She's now 1 year old and she uses one every day on a little water bottle. They work great for my nephews' ages 3, 5 & 7 so they don't spill their flavored waters and they keep the bees out when they take them outside. They have never leaked. I think the reviewer who had leaking problems didn't push them on all the way.Customer Review: Perfect for babies & Toddlers

These are great for babies and toddlers. My twins love water. So I send them to preschool with mini water bottles & these lids. (plus my one year old can use them too) The teachers send them home with the twins at the end of the day. All my friends love them when they come to visit because their kids won't make a mess in the house when running around with their drink. I bought this off ebay for my toddler since she is always begging for a drink from my water bottle. My 16 month old toddler can't handle a water bottle by herself without spilling most of the contents.
Now she has a water bottle of her own. Her 11 month old cousin even can drink from this spout too.
Now I have to buy another for grandparents house !!
