I'm expecting my first child, but my family has always used cloth diapers as burp towels. These are absolutely wonderful! The padded center is super absorbent for spit ups when burping, and therefore protects your clothes from a spit up mess. And the cotton cloth is soft on baby's face. Considering how quickly you can dirty burp towels and bibs, these are a must have in bulk.Customer Review: life saver

I used disposable diapers with my first two children and will use disposables again. However, on the persistance of my mother, I did purchase some cloth diapers. These were a life saver. These are excellent when the baby has diaper rash, but you can't let them go completely nude. The cloth breaths much better that plastic. When I decided to cloth-diaper, I knew I wanted to use the same diapers my mother and grandmother used. I love them! We alternate between these, all-in-ones, and disposables when we're out, and these are just as absorbent and easy to use as the others. I bought these to use as burp cloths for our son. We have some pricier burp cloths, but I wanted an inexpensive set to have around the house. They do shrink quite a bit after the first wash and they are not very soft, but they are absorbent. These are really big for my newborn (7lbs 1 oz and birth). I feel like they spread her legs really far apart. I decided to order some smaller ones (different brand). I will definitely use these when she gets older. They are easy to fold and use just a little to big for my little girl.
