Baby Products Reviews of Fresh N Freeze 2 oz. Reusable Baby Food Containers 12-PackCustomer Review: Found a little container that I like better... Summary: 3 Stars
I had some of the same problems with these as the others have noted (cracked containers, lid problems). I came across Sure Lid Lock Seal Containers. They are perfect for freezing homemade baby food. My favorite part is the attached lid - can't lose it and doesn't fall through the racks in my dishwasher. Sure Lid Lock-Seal Plastic Storage Containers * BPA Free, Leakproof, Waterproof Attached Hinged Flip-Top Lid with Lock Tab * 4 Ounce/Half Cup/118mL - 2 Per Pack
Customer Review: I LOVE These!!! Summary: 5 Stars
I have used several different baby food stoarge containers and these are the BEST yet! The screw on lids seal nicely, I have never had a leak! They stack up well if they are not frozen when you stack them. Now that my daughter is eating mostly table food, I use these containers for snacks and ice pops.
As far as the comments on the containers breaking if they fall from the freezer, I have had many different containers break when falling from the freezer! I don't think I own a breast milk starage bottle that has the whole base unbroken!
Customer Review: Love it! Summary: 4 Stars
Love the containers! It's not the flimsy plastic so I don't feel like they're going to warp and bend. Nothing leaks out of the twist tops, I did my little experiments by putting water in and shaking it really hard. Have not pt it in the microwave, I'm not really for tupperware microwaving.
One down side is that you really need to press the containers into the base for them to snap on. It hurts the palms a bit from the pressure.Other then that one little flaw, it's great! It attached easily to other containers and it does stay locked.
Customer Review: Just ok Summary: 3 Stars
These are just ok, they stack nicely and the lids are a decently tight fit. But they're too small once you get past the starter foods stage for the trouble they take to fill them. It's easier to pour purees into an ice cube tray freeze the tray and put the cubes in a zippered freezer bag. Also, if you happen to drop these from the top shelf of your freezer with frozen food in them, they crack. I accidentally knocked two of them out one day when the ice maker was having a problem and both of them cracked. One had to go to the recycle bin.
Customer Review: Baby not required Summary: 5 Stars
I don't even have a baby. I bought these for the juice I make from lemons and limes (purchased in quantity from my warehouse club)...I juice the fruit and save it in these containers to use for cooking and cocktails.
The best thing about these containers is that all the pieces snap together; you can actually transport the whole tray to the freezer without fear of dropping any of the pieces. The caps screw on to preserve the quality of the contents.
These are so terrific that I'm ordering a second set.
