I bought these because of all the stellar reviews they received. So when I received the package, I was surprised to find out that my baby food containers were made in CHINA. I actually checked all the reviews to see if anyone had mentioned this and no one had. Despite being BPA free, I am not comfortable storing my infant's food in these containers. So I am returning them. If the containers were made in the USA or some European country, I would recommend them--I like the screw caps and holder tray. I reviewed these because maybe other parents would like this information before making a purchasing decision.Customer Review: Not so great...

Good for short-term food storage in fridge but lids pop open when containers stored in freezer. Containers also crack easily if frozen and dropped on floor. I do like the fact that they are BPA free however there are better products out there.
I purchased the "Baby Cubes" 2 Oz. Baby Food Storage Containers by Juvenile Solutions which in my opinion are a much better product. They do not contain Phthalates, Bisphenol-A, or PVC, do not crack, freeze much better and are less expensive: Baby Cubes 2 oz.

Here are my findings on this product:
Pros
- Love the screw on lid, doesn't spill if you have to put in purse or diaper bag.
- Perfect 2 oz size. I tend to give my son 2 of these in different foods, depending on how hungry he is.
- Not flimpsy or thin.
- Doesn't get freezer burn on the top like other plastic containers.
Cons
- If you fill too full the lids pop off in the freezer (just don't fill all the way to the rim and this shouldn't be a problem).
Overall, great product! I ordered two 12-pk packages and actually need to buy more.

Other than being WAY too small (it takes two or three of these per meal), they're pretty good. They freeze well, etc. and don't leak (so far!). They are a pain to fill too b/c they're so tiny, so I lay down a flour sack b/c it gets messy. I've switched to the small rubbermaid containers w/ the reddish lid. They do everything this does (stack, don't leak, etc.) but they're an actual serving size. The opening is bigger and easier (mess-free) to fill. I also like that I can snap the lid on the rubbermaid ones, right out of the dishwasher, so I'm not always looking for lids as I am with these.Customer Review: Best Containers!

When I started researching making my own baby food I got lots of advice, especially about containers. When I saw these I was intrigued and ordered two sets. After using them I ordered two more! I loved the fact I could fill the containers and neatly stack them in the freezer. I don't have to worry about the lids popping off in the diaper bag, or about bags full of "ice cubes" falling out or sticking together. I bought small removal labels to write on the contents and the date. All I have to do is pull a container out and let it defrost. They are easy to clean.
