Baby Products Reviews of Fresh N Freeze 2 oz. Reusable Baby Food Containers 12-PackCustomer Review: Awesome! Summary: 5 Stars
These containers rock! I ordered one set of 12 and was so relieved and impressed that I turned around and ordered 2 more sets. Love the stacking. I haven't gotten into labeling my jars, so I just stack like foods together. I have been guilty of overfilling and then freezing so that the lid pops off. Thankfully, that was my bad, and no damage or wrong doing by the product. I trust them not to pop open in the diaper back when on the go. They do just fine in the microwave as well - from the freezer or the fridge. I also throw them in the dishwasher and the world is well.
I tried another product before with the flip-up tops that are alright. After trying the Stay-Fresh though, I'll be surprised if I ever use anything else again.
Customer Review: Great containers! Summary: 4 Stars
These are great for many uses! I use them for the baby food I make, and they're great for "baby tupperware" - my son can't eat a whole cup of YoBaby yogurt in one sitting, so we put the rest in these containers and they're perfect! There's only 2 reasons I didn't give these 5 stars: the measurement markings on the cups are molded into the cup (so they're clear, making it hard to see) so I had to mark on them with a Sharpie. The other reason is that if you fill the cup even a hair past the 2oz mark, the cups pop open in the freezer. I guess that's more my fault than a design fault, but it's still kind of annoying to find that in the freezer a month later. Otherwise, these are great & I will probably order more!
Customer Review: Easy to use, nice size Summary: 4 Stars
These are pretty handy: The lid screws on and they're a good size. They're easy to get the food into and to thaw. I prefer them to the freezer tray I bought, which had small portion sizes, was difficult to distribute food into, and was difficult to retrieve the frozen cubes from. The lids do get a little looser with freezing, but it hasn't been a problem: just screw it tighter if thawing in water.... also I suggest you consider buying 2 packs so you have 24. I found that 12 just wasn't enough (really it's like one and a half batches of food and not quite enough for a whole week for one baby.) Plus the shipping cost is high, (over 5 bucks!) so save yourself paying for shipping twice.
Customer Review: the best for homemade baby food & much more Summary: 5 Stars
These containers are great. I make my daughter's food in bulk & keep them in the ice cube compartment in my freezer. When I need one for the next day, I just make a transfer from the freezer to the fridge, and by the next day it's ready to be served. The tops click & screw on & are stackable, creating a neat and orderly section just for her. I have never had a problem with leakage, as I don't over fill them. I'm actually about to buy some more so I can create more of an assortment for her. You can also use them when they out grow puree food. I plan on using them for snacks, and making fruit pops for her when she gets older. It's a great buy & worth the money. You won't be disappointed.
Customer Review: Not as nice as it looks. Summary: 1 Stars
They are not as great as I thought they would be. They are not as sturdy as they look, they don't stack as well as they look, and the lids pop off if you fill them too much- even by a little. Also for storing, they are horrible! It's like have another section of Tupperware but worse because the items are so small. I prefer the Beaba silicone containers they are easy to store and to clean and you just pop out the food and place in a freezer bag for neat organized storage. I write what's in the freezer bag and the date I made the food and with these I can't do that. Overall, it's a nice idea but too much of a hassle for me.
