We were adamant that we wanted to make our own baby food, but had struggled with a storage container that would go easily from fresh to frozen to the table (or high chair, as the case may be.) The Stay-Fresh Baby Food Containers have been so easy to use; they are the perfect solution for us and our little one!
LOVE the screw-on tops. These make it easy (and worry-free) to take our baby's food to restaurants, the grandparents' house, or where ever we need to go. I have not had any leakage issues at all.
LOVE the fact that I can take a serving out of the freezer and warm it in the container, then use that same container to feed our son. MUCH less mess, which is a godsend with a new baby.
LOVE that I feel secure using this product - I don't have to worry about BPA, safety, etc. I don't worry that I'm feeding my child anything that has toxins.
LOVE that I can use these as he gets older as well - they will be great for taking raisins, nuts and other little snacks when traveling, eating out, etc.
We were so pleased with this product that we have ordered two additional sets. I would highly recommend these to anyone looking for small food storage containers.

The best storage containers I found out there. Perfect size for my baby who is 8 months - she eats 2 - 3 2oz a day. So I just pack 2 containers for day care and head out the door. I also have small labels that I cut in half and put on top of the containers so I know what is in there - let's be honest, sweet potatoes and butternut squash are very hard to tell apart!
Couple of downsides/issues I had:
1. Clear fill lines - it is very hard to see them once you start adding food to the containers. I have actually taken a permanent marker to all of mine so I didn't overfill them.
2. If you overfill them, the lids will pop off. Not a big deal as I believe the instructions noted that but being that it is hard to see the fill lines, you don't now when they are too full.
3. Stacking. The containers themselves stack really well but getting them to stack in the base is next to impossible.
Overall, these containers are amazing. I wish they actually made like a 24 pack since I already have 3 sets of these and could use about 3 more. Really great product and I would highly recommend them!

I'm a Mom of a 7 month old, and have decided to make my own organic food for the baby. I searched the internet thoroughly for BPA free plastic freezable and microwavable products. I saw that these had fairly good reviews, so I tried them. They are fairly good, but they are really small. I made 1 large Butternut squash and 1 medium Acorn squash, and I didnt have enough room for that. There was another reviewer that said the same thing. You would basically have to buy 10 of these 12packs to be able to make food once a month and freeze. My suggestion is to buy regular plastic storage containers. I bought several in the 4 oz. size from The Container Store. [...]. I do not work for The Container Store, nor have any financial interest there. I am simply a consumer that tried 2 products, and found that The Container Store has MANY options. The next size up is 9 oz, and so you can grow as your child grows. I found the prices to be very reasonable. And I found a coupon code for 10% off by googling it. Dont waste your money on these Stay-Fresh 2 oz containers. Although, they shipped to me really fast, and that was nice.

These containers are great! They are just the right size for homemade baby food. It's really nice to have the convenience of storing, freezing, and feeding from the same container. The lid can be screwed onto the base of the container, which makes it really easy to keep track of, especially when feeding my baby when we're out and about. I bought these containers and a baby food cookbook as part of my "get motivated" to make the baby food setup. Being inexperienced at the whole thing, I thought that one set would be sufficient and couldn't imagine needing more. Well, I didn't take into consideration: 1)how easy & time efficient it is to make a lot of food, 2) the pediatrician recommended we offer the same food three days in a row before moving on, and 3.) Unless you want to get the steamer and blender out every few days it would be better to make a few things at once and freeze them. So.... at the moment, I still have to do the freeze in ice cube trays and transfer to a freezer bag thing. I definitely recommend this item; however, I also recommend buying a few sets.Customer Review: Nice in theory, but not very practical

I was really excited to purchase the Stay-Fresh reusable baby food containers. I make my daughter's baby food and was searching for a BPA-free, leak-proof containers to use for her baby food (which I freeze in cubes and defrost as needed). However, these containers are so small (they fit 2 oz) that I can only fit up to one cube of frozen baby food (approx. 5oz) for the purpose of defrosting. And, my daughter usually eats more than 2oz during her meals. I realize Stay-Fresh markets these containers as an option for storing "fresh" baby food and also for freezing newly made batches. To me, that is simply not practical. 12 containers would not go very far if I was using them for freezing purposes. And, most people I know who make their own baby food produce large batches so it can be frozen and you can avoid making it on a daily basis.
While the containers and lids are nice quality, I don't think I'll get much use from them overall, which is disappointing. So, carefully consider your intended use before making the purchase.
