I bought this set of trays for freezing baby food purees, and it has worked wonderfully. The lids fit well and go on easily. Once the purees are frozen (I leave them at least overnight, make sure they are totally solid) a couple seconds of working the tray back and forth loosens the cubes which easily fall out when the tray is overturned. (I use the lid as a tray to catch the cubes on, then dump the cubes right into a plastic freezer bag. Super easy. I haven't had to dig or pick any of the cubes out). I do hand wash my trays, but they are easy to clean (I'm already washing bottles and non-dishwasher safe items, so this is no big deal). I have used these trays to freeze pureed baby food for my daughter. I love that this product has a lid. I haven't had any problems with freezer burn, but I take the food out once it's thawed and put it in a freezer bag so I can reuse the trays. My only complaint is that the trays are a little bit small for the amount my daughter eats now. They would have been great for when she was smaller, but she eats more now. I thaw the cubes overnight in another container, and two cubes won't fit in the other containers that I use. That's not the fault of this product, just of my system, but it would be nice if the cubes were a little larger. Overall, though, great product!Customer Review: Not one ounce - disappointment

I was excited to get these so I could freeze breast milk and homemade baby food by one ounce cubes so I wouldn't have to waste or defrost milk I didn't need. But I swear, even though it reads that the cube sizes are 1 ounce each, I can only get 3/4 ounce in each...which is disappointing because now I will have to use 2 to cubes to get 1.5 ounces and so on and it's just inconvenient. Make sure they are on a flat surface when freezing because the lid does not make it so the liquid stays in their own cube, would be nice if it did. And it's kinda hard to get the frozen milk or food out once frozen. :/ not sure I would recommend this to anyone sadly.Customer Review: Save money and give your children healthier food!

As a working mom, I loved these because they made home-made baby food simple. I made batches of each type of vegetable on the weekends, froze them and then stored cubes in a freezer safe bags. Not only was it the perfect way to store food, but the cubes are the right sized portion so we didn't waste a lot. I would drop a couple cubes in a tupperware container for daycare and I knew they weren't throwing away half a jar of food each day. The trays were so simple to use and very durable. The lids are a great addition so food did not get freezer burnt and cubes came out easily. Even the blueberry stains washed away easily in the dishwasher.Customer Review: Work perfectly!!

I bought these to go with a baby food maker so that I could make my own baby food for my son. These trays work perfectly!! Just like an ice cube tray, I let them sit out for about 5 mins, the twist and the cubes pop out. I haven't had any problems with the lids like others had either. Mine have fit every time. I make a good amount of food at a time, so I don't leave food in these for the long term-for that I use freezer of vacuum seal bags. I have only hand washed them, so wonder if some of the other issues have come from the heat in the dishwasher....
Would HIGHLY recommend!! Just wish I had more!!
