Customer Review: Well Worth The Money!!
Summary: 5 Stars

I almost purchased a less expensive shopping cart seat cover. I am so glad I decided to spend the extra money on the Floppy Seat. It was well worth it! I have had more people come up and ask me where I purchased it. I use it all the time and wouldn't go shopping without it. I have used it only once so far in a restaurant high chair, but it worked great there too. My daughter loves sitting in it, and it keeps her bare legs in the summer from touching a too hot, or a too cold shopping cart seat. I really can't say enough good things about it. The generously sized pocket on the inside is great for storing little toys and a bottle. I also like that it has it's own seat belt so you don't even have to use the "community" belt. Those always end up in the mouth!! If you're even considering a Floppy Seat vs. a less expensive version....don't! This one covers the entire seat, and handle of a cart without a bunch of straps and velcro. I am so pleased with this purchase and have recommended it to everyone who has asked me about it.

Customer Review: Worth Every Penny
Summary: 5 Stars

My daughter outgrew her infant carrier/car seat before she could sit up by herself. I didn't know how I was going to take her grocery shopping or anywhere else where a stroller would be impractical. I decided to try the Floppy Seat despite the price. It is one of the best baby products I've purchased. The Floppy Seat's belt straps around her chest and comfortably holds her in an upright position, and the built-in loops make it easy for me to attach a few favorite toys to keep her busy while I shop. The Floppy Seat is nicely padded and covers the entire seating area of a shopping cart: front, back, sides, even the handle. It does take a bit of practice to use; I usually park near a cart corral and position the Floppy Seat in the shopping cart while my daughter waits in the car, but it only takes a minute or two to set up. It's a little snug in the wooden highchairs most restaurants have but it works fine, and it folds into its own built-in carry bag so it doesn't take up a lot of space. This is a really great product!

Customer Review: good purchase

I thought the Floppy Seat was a little frivolous, but ordered it anyway. I am very glad I did. I feel so much better about putting my daughter in a shopping cart and especially in high chairs at restaurants. Until I had a baby, I didn't know that the restaurants turn the wooden high chairs upside down to hold the baby's car seat at the table. That means the top of the high chair is on the crummy floor. Which means that when your baby is old enough to sit in that high chair, they'll be coming into contact with the germs it picked up while it was upside down. The Floppy Seat is nice and cushy, and my daughter (9 months old) laid down vertically in the seat of the shopping cart one time to take a nap while we were out shopping; it was a cozy little nest. She never could have done that without the Floppy Seat. It is easily washable and relatively easy to pack up once you get the hang of it. Even though it is big for the high chairs and bulky to carry around, I wouldn't leave home without it.

Customer Review: CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT THE FLOPPY
Summary: 5 Stars

I purchased a less expensive item similar to this one however, what I found out was that the darn thing wouldn't stretch over the larger shopping carts. So, I took it back and put out the $$ for the floppy. I should have in the first place. Not only does it take care of my son in grocery or department store carts, but the restaurant high chairs as well. It also keeps them from trying to put their mouths on the cart handles. I couldn't bear to put him in a cart or highchair without protection from other icky germy kids. One thing however, is that it should be washed after each use. Especially after seeing the report on the Phoenix news about the germ tests done on grocery carts where they found more evidence of salmonella on the cart handles than bad germs from the restrooms. I'm sure this is from picking up meat packages, etc. Bottom line, I love it and so does my son. It will make a wonderful baby shower gift.

Customer Review: AWESOME PRODUCT
Summary: 5 Stars

This product is awesome! I have a 19 month old son and have had this product since he was about 7 months old. We are also expecting baby #2 in June 05 and are getting another one. This thing protects everything baby touches. No dirty highchairs or buggys. We saw a thing on 20/20 about the germs in grocery carts and were horrified. Think about it, people put their chicken and beef in the seat part of the buggy a lot of the time, don't you think it can seep out? Your child then sits in the seat and touches the germs and then puts his hands in his mouth. How nasty! Anyway, to the review where the child almost fell out or fell out or whatever, you should have read the instructions! The product itself says to take the strap and strap it through the grating of the buggy and then around your child. Next time you use something with your child, read the instructions before you hurt the baby!!
