I bought the floppy seat after I saw my sister in law with one and thought it was the best thing in the world. At the time I was pregnant with my 3rd baby and my daughter was going to use it till the new baby needed it. My daughter was almost 2 at the time, so it was no problem putting it in the cart with her and her older brother standing next to me. But all that changed when my baby was old enough to sit in a cart. I had such a hard time putting the floppy seat into the cart with the baby in my arms, that I eventually waited for my husband to come home to go shopping so I didn't have to bring the kids. I came across the Buggy Bag and it was a life saver. You can put it in the cart and set it up with one hand. I recomend the floppy seat if you have older children who aren't going to run away while you set it up, but if you have little ones, the buggy bag is the way to go.Customer Review: Good but not AS GOOD AS others....

After looking around at ALL of the shopping seat covers out there I DID NOT buy this one. Though it is better than some, I found two others that are quite a bit nicer than this one. The first one is "The BILBY" and the second one is the "BUGGY BAGG".
I first bought the bilby (before finding the buggy bagg) and get comments about it all the time when I am out shopping. I just recently found the buggy bagg and couldn't resist buying it as well. After using both I am still not sure which one I like better. They are both great. The main differences between them are as follows:
Buggy Bagg comes with pillow, Bilby does not.
Buggy Bagg has loops to attach toys to so they don't get dropped on the ground, Bilby does not.
Buggy Bagg has loops to hold sippy cups upright in, Bilby does not.
Buggy Bagg zips closed when not in use and has handle for easy carrying. Bilby does not.
The Buggy Bagg comes with its own safety belt. The Bilby has a flap that lifts up so you can use the safety belt from the shopping cart.
All that said, I still love the bilby AND the buggy bagg.
The Bilby is made with a durable but soft cordoroy material on one side and a durable cotton (I think it is cotton) material on the other side. It has some padding in it for your child comfort.

Customer Review: CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT THE FLOPPY

I purchased a less expensive item similar to this one however, what I found out was that the darn thing wouldn't stretch over the larger shopping carts. So, I took it back and put out the $$ for the floppy. I should have in the first place. Not only does it take care of my son in grocery or department store carts, but the restaurant high chairs as well. It also keeps them from trying to put their mouths on the cart handles. I couldn't bear to put him in a cart or highchair without protection from other icky germy kids. One thing however, is that it should be washed after each use. Especially after seeing the report on the Phoenix news about the germ tests done on grocery carts where they found more evidence of salmonella on the cart handles than bad germs from the restrooms. I'm sure this is from picking up meat packages, etc. Bottom line, I love it and so does my son. It will make a wonderful baby shower gift.Customer Review: GREATEST!! MUST BUY THIS ITEM!!!!!!!!

This product is honestly a lifesaver! I use it almost everyday and never worry about my daughter putting her mouth on any of the handles of the shopping carts anymore! Not a shopping trip goes buy that I am not asked where I bought my seat cover. If you saw the 60 minutes expose on how filthy shopping cart handles are you would know just how much you need this item. This item is a must have for every mommy. My husband purchased this for our first son when he was 6 months old. We keep in the back of our car for shopping trips and eating out. Our oldest is now 2 1/2 and still puts his mouth on everything, a habit we're trying to break. It puts my mind at rest knowing that he's not ingesting all sorts of germs when he does it. If the seat gets grimy while eating, all you have to do is through it in the wash. The only reason that this is not getting five stars from me is the fact that ours didn't come with a carrying case, and it is a bit wild to carry around because of that.
